Really good stuff learned alot from your FTF course. So here is the issue i'm running into. I have one of those round led lights that is already soft and a 30w light at 50 power with a softbox and grid on it, but I'm still getting alot of shadows on the walls and backdrop with no windows. Work isn't springing for alot of equipment, so I'm kind of limited and using my own lights for now. the background is two silver panels, which I suspect is also reflecting light although, my subject is standing in front of it, so he's blocking most of the bounce I believe.
Brady! You help me out so much with these vids man- thankyou - always trying to put the words into action (with varied results!) haha - appreciate your work mate
Love your channel Brady. But I think the blooming filters are a little too much on your footage. All to personal taste tho! Cheers for another great video
@@ViralVideos-pr2oitrend. Think not. They have been used on film making for ever. Also sometimes film makers get vintage lenses to get same look to reduce sharpness
Love the video once again my man! These tips are going to help out so much while i’m making my lighting plans for my upcoming short film. Also, I noticed you are shooting on the Fx3 in this video… Lately, I’ve been debating heavily whether to go for the Blackmagic 6k pro or the fx3. I know that gear doesn’t matter, but let me know your unbiased opinion. I do a lot of cinematography, some corporate work, some run and gun work, etc, etc. I’ll be coming from an A7iii, so not sure if that will change your answer 😂 Thanks dude!
I had an A7III and now i own a FX3. I really recommend it. Very cinematic results (10 bit, intraframe codec, 4:2:2, slog3 w/widegamut), and a great AF & IBIS for run and gun!. The lack of a VND can be solved with a filter...
Hello Brady, great video as always 👍🏻 I wanted to recreate your bathtub scene with my FX6 for my 1.000 subscriber special 👍🏻 now it is finished and released 😉 if you want to have a look 😀 best cinematic greetings from germany
Love your content and I am certainly no authority but the halation is way over the top in a lot of your vids especially in this one 😁
Peep the 5lb bag of sour patch kids… an absolute essential on every set
the on off/of the spotlight was an eye opener. Wish you had shown the shape you made on the cabinets

Merci beaucoup director pour le partage
This video is coming very much in handy for an upcoming shoot I have in my small house :) Thanks for the splendid content as always Brady!
Very nice. The spotlight comes in handy.
Eggcrate on that f22 would really help ya on some of those set ups. Just cleans up alot of that spill.
Much love from Sierra Leone
All the way west Africa
Thanks for your teachings

Very nice, B! I love that she wants to keep even the Cup o Noddles cup clean. Haha
Professor Brady! Thanks for another brilliant tutorial!
Great video! Using mirrors to bounce the light its a really efficient way to light small spaces too :)
Love this setting,
any recommendation which 3 light kit you recommend when you just starting on your filmmaking journey?
Thank you! That’s useful indeed
Love your work.
Thank you man !
Aw. Love your passion. Keep going strong boy. Great job
class is officialy dismissed.
This was a huge struggle for me but thank you brady for the amazing tips, for sure i will use them a ton.
Pls, what's the link to this 0:54 boom arm? Is that a c stand grip head on it ?
Brady, if I could only afford one other light other than my 120 d, which would you recommend getting?
Awesome video, thank you!
Thanks men for everthing!
Dig this setup Brady 👌
These are great tricks
Cheers Brady
6:54 i thought the hair made the man but its the lighting! watch out Kaya, make sure you bring a chaperone, haha. looking great
Love your channel Brady. But I think the blooming filters are a little too much on your footage. All to personal taste tho! Cheers for another great video
I think he should drop the filters to 1 quater strength and not what he is rocking on the camera
@@AlfieWeaverLeonGale 1/8 strength if anything. I just think these diffusion filters are another trend & when overused rly ruin the footage

Awesome work mate! I'd love to see your tube light at your desk set up. Are you using a grid?
please recommend some boom arm light stands. I can't find any reliable ones where I live or on amazon
I like how you eat the props. See you on the flip flip ;)
The more I watch your channel, the more I'm realizing how clutch having an F22C in your kit is
I preach that so often

Washing the fully wrapped cup of noodles 😂 great tutorial!
Genius counterbalance 😉
Are led mats a great purchase? Aside from small spaces.
did you open the window lighting from outside?
thank you :)
🤔🤔 can’t get off the washing of the wrapped cup noodles. I know there was a conversation about it where you were like “….don’t worry about it”
In which categories are Amaran > Pavotubes?
Hey where did you get the film grain from? Is it Dehancer pro?
Your video looks dreamy. did you put some filter in your lens or is it just the color grading that made that look?
It's probably a Black pro-mist filter. But imo it's overpowering
🔥🔥
brady, you keep forgetting to tell us the White balance for each scenerio. you can type it as a message
I’m sorry I forget sometimes! For this it was 5600
Nice tips, sad I don't have money for this
You in Utah now? Or just visiting?
nice. 1 question, why is she washing the noodles? 🤣
No more Blackmagic cams?
she really cleaning a ramen noodle cup
