That is one of the reasons why I don't eat watermelon anymore my dad bought in while we was on vacation for like 4 days and left it in the corner of the hallway never fixed it (cutting it) and it was squishy and it had leaked allover the floor and the smell was horrible. Since they day many years ago i haven't ate watermelon then😅

I didn't experience this, but my mom told me the story; we had bought a watermelon awhile back, and hadn't cut it open. My mom saw water around it and thought my sister had done a bad job cleaning the counter. She went to pick up the watermelon and it basically released a wave of water

I work for a Retail store and the employees that work in the morning don't clean out the pallets that are meant for Watermelon, nor do they change them out for new ones.
So every day we get a rotten ass watermelon at the bottom of the stack, which I go through the trouble to clean out since no one else will 🙄

Yep, I work in fruit and veg, I have seen squishy watermelon before. I thank the heavens I haven't seen one that bad yet, the ones I've seen have been able to hold themselves together until I got them into the bin. And yes, they smell absolutely foul. I am fortunately noseblind, so smells that make others gag and retch are only mildly unpleasant for me, so that fact that I have an opinion about the smell of something tells you that it is absolutely vile.

@@candice_ecidnac I've been there before when I use to work in a produce department for a little over a year. Watermelon season was the worst. We'd probably get 4-6 bins of watermelons twice a week and it was a good chance at least one bin had a watermelon going bad it in. What sucked it they would usually be in the middle or near the bottom of the bin so you normally wouldn't notice one was going bad right away and put the bin on the floor. If you were lucky, you could catch it early on and remove the bad melon when it may have had only a small leaky hole in it. But if you were unlucky, they would basically turn into very fragile water balloons that would pop with the slightest of shifting.
One of the worst smells every when it comes to bad produce. Up there with rotten potatoes and onions.
The "squishy" watermelon is revolting and likely was rotting. Ode to that computer monitor as well, hope it didn't cost a lot. I'm happy the officer was alright and didn't take the incident too badly (that area looked extremely crowded, pretty easy to hit another person). And lastly, that dog at the end reminds me of Snoopy and I wish I could boop the snoot as well :)

Smart cat. He goes in slowly at the beginning to decelerate the speed of the fan. Then once the fan is at a more comfortable speed, he goes in for the less painful and very pleasurable hits. The fan doesn't have enough torque to speed up agane so it stays at that constant speed for maximum "put yo hand in da fan" ecstasy.
Also, he's not getting hit by the edges of the fan blades. The blades are slanted so they can move air, so the actual impact is even less.

It can go either way really, but if they were all ADD and took adderall, then theyd all just be pretty more close to normal focus rather than an intense fixation on apple throwing, which by the way, as an adhd person, is very fun and I do recommend trying

Fun fact about that squishy watermelon: Sometimes watermelons will ferment and actually begin to emit gas! Sometimes holes in the rind will make it bubble and fizz out.

I work in a grocery store and I can confirm. When the dude broke open the watermelon I recoiled out of instinct.
I hate those people that abuse service workers' time and patience. Saying "I'm sorry I gotta do this" just to make yourself feel better while you're still being a bother to someone who's just trying to get on with their day is absolutely riveting.

I used to work in a grocery store and that "squishy watermelon" clip triggered my gag reflex. Rotten watermelons are some of the most foul smelling things on the planet.
There was a really bad sickly sweet rotten smell in our utility room for awhile. Finally tried to find what it was, and uncovered a disgusting rotting watermelon in a veg box (or something similar) that we’d forgotten about. Almost the smell of a rotten carcass 🤢
@@crystaledwards8854 My store would put out a big pallet of watermelons in the middle of the aisle and wouldn't rotate them over the days, so after a week or two the ones on the bottom would start getting crushed under the weight which opened them to bacteria. By the time we'd sell enough of them to start seeing the bottom it was just this foul wet ooze that always somehow ended up being my responsibility to clean.
