:Fair use is a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances. Section 107 of the Copyright Act provides the statutory framework for determining whether something is a fair use and identifies certain types of uses-such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research-as examples of activities that may qualify as fair use. Section 107 calls for consideration of the following four factors in evaluating a question of fair use:

This was cool. I really like Alice Cooper.
I was blown away and so happy that Alice did Steven live in 2019 . I always wanted to see him do that song also escape as well . 2019 was a great tour
I remember feeling that way about hearing Halo of Flies. I appreciate that Alice always plays some of the more obscure songs.
With the Who on pause and Alice Cooper back on the Friday agenda, I was hoping to hear from you 🤠
I've been listening to this album since 1975 and it took me a while to come to the conclusion that it is not a nightmare but a paranoid delusion. Our protagonist, Steven is not a little boy but a grown man who has lost his grip on reality. We begin with the title track that welcomes the listener to what Steven thinks is just a nightmare but is his slide into madness. This is followed up by Devils Food, Black Widow and Some Folks. These three contain typical nightmarish images so Steven is still pretty sure he's just having a nightmare but in reality he's hallucinating during his mental breakdown. Only Women Bleed is probably the most important song on the album. While on the surface it's a song about domestic abuse it's actually the point where Steven murders his wife. We talked about Department of Youth already being on the album solely to be released as a single so I'll move on. Then we have Cold Ethyl. This is when Steven stuffs the body of his dead wife into the freezer. Here she'll keep nicely. Then the Steven Trilogy. Years Ago, Steven and The Awakening. Years Ago explores Stevens inner conflict of being a grown man but wishes to be the little boy he once was before he lost his mind. Steven tells of his succumbing completely to his psychosis and his mixed emotions of joy and guilt about killing his wife. The awakening is just that. Steven wakes from his nightmare/delusion only to realize that it wasn't a nightmare but a reality in which he has murdered his wife and stuffed her corpse into the freezer. And he feels fulfilled by his actions. Lastly Escape is just that. Steven runs. He doesn't know to where or how far he just knows he's got to go. It's also autobiographical as Alice sometimes wants to escape being Alice. His alcoholism was full blown by this time in 1975 and although he deals with it there are references to him realizing he needs help in this song.
So there you have it. This my own personal interpretation of the album and only my opinion. And as you know , opinions are like butt holes...everybody has one.
The deliberate cacophony in "Years ago" is absolutely brilliant, and "Steven" might be one of my all time favorite songs from Alice. I was completely blown away when I heard this album the first time long time ago.
Please consider reacting to Fay's efforts with The Who's Quadrophenia, which I hope to see tonight 😊
at 13:40. He wakes up , wundering where his wife is , and notice blood (Crimson spots) on his hands...
Seen him on Hollywood Squares and he was The Man and not Alice Cooper. He'd tell a joke and the people could only see Alice Cooper the actor. My heart goes out to The Man for caring about people. And the people who couldn't tell the difference. Shock Rock Opera to make people think and The Man that knew difference between a show and reality. Thanks for being open minded.
Alice Cooper!!!
❤️❤️❤️
These songs need to be followed by the Ballad of Dwight Frye
Dwight Frye was the actor who played Renfield in 1931 Dracula
at 8:50. He is talking to his dead wife who he has murdered.
Hey Steven is Really Alice Cooper
Wow - Thanky you!!!!!!!!!!
In the song Only Women Bleed, Steven killed his wife. Then in Cold Ethyl, he rapes her corpse and puts her body in the freezer. It also is about his love of ethyl alcohol. Then, Steven is also him killing his wife with The Awakening him waking up after killing his wife and after his psychotic break.
He wakes up and realizes that he has murdered his wife.
It's all confusing, but I think Steven is a man who is mentally ill due to a very traumatic childhood. In his mind, he's still fighting to be a little boy, but I think his subconscious is telling him that he has to go back to being a man. I don't think it's his mom calling, but his wife, who he ends up killing while he's in this dream state. And when he killed her, she only lived a minute of her life (in the grand scheme). He kills her and then is covering his eyes in hope that what he's done goes away or is just a nightmare because he's struggling to decipher what is in his mind
and what is reality. When he finally wakes up in the basement looking for his wife, following a trail of crimson spots and there's blood dripping from his hands he then realizes that he did kill her.
This 👆❤
I don't think he was sleep walking. I take it as he did something terrible and blocked it from his memory. Escape rocks out and is self biographical. This to me is where he's starting to realize that the persona of Alice was taking over his personality and was constantly living his life as Alice instead of Vincent, his real name.
He also just changed his name to Alice at that time. He changed it after the band broke up.
Simply put , he killed his family. And he woke up in a basement because he lost his mind. Escape is about getting out of prison.
Alice has a recurring theme of insanity where the character is delusional and commits murder and/or is locked up in an insane asylum. previously "The Ballad of Dwyte Fry" and the entire album "From the Inside" which depicts many of the characters he met when he was committed.
Steven killed his wife
Some folks- the awakening....seeing red, blue lady, feeling like a man
