Hey roof rats.. Another video to help you out in the field.
This one was a recommendation by a trainee in the GA market. We have an unbelievable amount of mechanical damage or vandalism on our inspections down here. It's a combination of cheaply built houses and poor regulations that create the perfect storm (a hand storm).
Here we point out half a dozen scenarios that demonstrate mechanical damage. Leave us a comment below if you have experienced this on your inspections!

I'm a roofer in MD and the amount of insurance claimed roof replacements are staggering and taking many of the jobs from us small companies. Manual damage id say is the norm with these guys. I came here attracted to the frontier videos but was pretty surprised when I saw this one. Kinda cool and appreciate the info!

I’m also a roofing contractor. When I’m not busy doing roofs I just inspect them. But I agree with you. It’s pretty wild to try your best and be an honest contractor with integrity. And then you look all around you and everyone is having an insane amount of success at the expense of having any kind of ethical and moral standards. I would rather install one roof the right way then 100 roofs on some BS
