My, how far (most literally) the two former baristas have come... how wonderful their travels have been, and so beautifully documented for us to witness!
Love that you stopped at the ‘big’ sheepdog & ram in Tirau… there’s heaps more to find as you travel around - the carrot, the gumboot, the L&P bottle, the crayfish, the salmon… the ‘Simpson’s’ donut (Springfield) to name a few 😅
I'm so thrilled to have you here in New Zealand. I wish I could make the weather improve, we have had what feels like a year of rain and it still hasn't let up... Every time Tia showcases another fabulous postcard I always feel I really really would like this one - what amazing talent. I really really hope the computer random thingy pulls out my name!
Its 3.28am here in Far Nth NSW. You 2 getting up at "midnight" to go to a beach with hot springs. 👏👏ALL your Vids are uplifting and positive. 💯💕💕 Very much look fwd to seeing you two next Sunday. Safe travels Tia and Cheveyo. ps As an Aussie, I "hate" Vegemite but LOVE Promite.😊
I have fallen in love with your videos over the years, you guys have been my biggest source of comfort through the stresses of life. I can’t thank you enough :) Also your post card looks beautiful as always !!
Tia and Chev! I want that postcard! Looks super pretty! Great job Tia! Maybe a coffee table book of all your postcards when you have collected enough??
I went to Lord of the Rings sites at Arrowtown (ford of Bruinen) where Arwon says " if you want him, come and claim him." and Glenorchy ( the scene where Gandalf rides to Isengard) near Queenstown on the South Island.
My guess is the town you're in that smells of eggs, is one or near one of the volcanic townships (e.g. Rotarura). Their power stations use the heat of the earth to make sustainable electricity! Loving the series.
As an Aussie, I’ve always hated vegemite so I’m with Tia on this one. Also love the new postcard! Japan is on the bucket list thanks to you both. All the best
Kia ora (hello) from a Kiwi I have been watching your Vids since you arrived here in Aotearoa ( land of the long white cloud) As a Native indigenous person ( Maori that is) Im really glad you are enjoying our country I have been as far North and Cape Reinga and as South as Stuant Island (Rakiura) I know you two will truly enjoy the journey and the adventures along the way Haerenga Haumaru (Safe Journey) and Nau mai haere mai te Aotearoa (Welcome to New Zealand)btw I live in Taranaki right next to Mt Taranaki
Another wonderfully beautiful and funny vlog. Am so enjoying watching you both travel the world - it brings back many memories of when our kids were young and we travelled also. The memories will be priceless for you as well, I’m sure! Looking forward to next Saturday night and your next vlog! Take care and stay safe.
There's a fairly subtle difference between Marmite and Vegemite. My preference is Vegemite. Several years ago there was an earthquake that damaged the manufacturing plant that made Marmite, resulting in a shortage of Marmite known as Marmageddon. I just watched Josh and Lisa's vid on NZ, and finally learned the origin story of the car plant!
Wow what a great video 😃 two of my favourite things, cats and Big things 😊 absolutely loving your tour of NZ 👍 keep up the great work 💜 from Australia 🇦🇺
I love the quirky roadside attractions that Tia finds! I seek that kind of things out too. A more recent one was an old Shell gas station that is shaped like an actual shell and painted bright yellow. It's in Winston-Salem, NC.
For Vegemite you have to have HOT buttered toast -with the butter actually melted through. Then the thinest smear of vegemite -never thick like peanut butter. Cover the toast, but only a few molecules thick. Best late night snack in the world! Love that you visited the dog and sheep at Tirau. Tia for scale!
We spent 3 weeks in NZ in May of this year and has the most amazing holiday ever. If you think the north island is beautiful, the south is somehow even better! Also jealous you were at Hobbiton, I’m a massive Tolkien fan and that place was like Disneyland for me. Keep up the great videos :)
What a gorgeous postcard! I used to live in NZ and am loving watching it through your eyes. I'm new to your vlogs, love the energy you two have. Looking forward to more!!
I love NZ. Looking forward to going back again soon. Explored more of the South Island than the North but got to go to Hobbiton last time we were over. Such a beautiful country.
Obviously commenting for the amazing postcard but also wanted to let you know I’m in South Korea right now and just left gyeongju. I ended up staying at both places you guys did and loved it. It’s because of your videos that I went to gyeongju and it is one of my favorite stops of SK so far! Thank you for making these!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful walk down Hobbiton. FYI - you might have spread the vegemite a tad too thickly. Hot toast with lashings of butter and thinly spread vegemite - heaven! 😋😁
We are loving your videos. New Zealand looks like a very interesting place to visit. Thanks for taking us with on your journeys!! 11:48 am from Saskatchewan, Canada!!
I want to go to Hobbiton now; it looks so cute. I imagine the egg smell around the lake would be from Sulphur hot springs. Keep safe. Cheers from Melbourne.
Marmite is New Zealand made and our only home made yeast spread .. There's very few cupboards/pantries in nz that doesn't have a jar or two of Marmite.. Marmite has barley, oat and rye whereas Vegimite has wheat and barley. Hence that bite you taste only in Marmite. There's so many uses besides just on toast\bread\butter.
I enjoy your videos a lot. I have to say that if my alarm went off at 12am in the same situation, I’d probably just say I’ll have to come back another time and go back to bed. Fortunately you pressed on and ended up with a unique experience. Well done!
It's always great to watch your videos guys, you are such a lovely and inspiring couple. I'm heading to NZ next month so your latest vlogs are extremely helpful. Cheers!
Love your videos! Have almost made it through all 297! Keep it up! Spend as much time as possible in Wanaka - one of the best places in New Zealand. Definitely recommend isthmus Peak hike!
Loved the tour, that would be so cute to see. I think Tia is definitely addicted to ‘big things!’ So funny & cute. Yes I’d love that postcard. Very, very pretty & artistic!! 😍👍🏼 Safe travels you two 🥰🚗
Ahh I'm so jealous I have always wanted to go to Hobbiton! The natural springs looks fun. I'm really enjoying this new zealand trip so far. Also cute cat!
My family and I always look forward to all your videos that you guys make. Love all the travels, laughter, trying new foods. The look on your face when you tried the spread 😂😂😂. Keep making videos we love them all! Oh a postcard would be absolutely amazing! Your artwork is amazing and one of a kind! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Another premium Sunday treat! Cheveyo you are a pro when it comes to drone footage! Love the postcard - for me, the pagoda climax was a highlight of your Japan trek. For a merch idea, have you ever thought of doing a calendar of your postcard creations to help fund your vlogs? Btw, have you announced a name yet for the Beamer?
Way back in the early 2000s when i went to NZ and wanted to go to Matamata to visit the hobbiton set, the original set was basically only holes…the farm owner didnt want the film set keep and wanted to have the farm returned to its original state. Obviously realised a film set attraction is a better investment 😂 but very impressed with the attention to detail…also agree with the person that mentioned the Vegemite to butter ratio…if you’ve never had Vegemite before, you need more butter than vegemite. Also i find that marmite is a lot more “runnier” than vegemite…and vegemite is superior 😊
We lived right around the corner from Hobbiton for a couple of years, It was the only time I actually enjoyed Covid, cos the traffic was purely just the locals so it was so nice and quiet! It's a really beautiful and picturesque area. I love Tia's joy, it is so infectious!
How good is Hobbiton! Love your postcards Tia. My son in law is a kiwi. He has been here in Australia since he was 12 years old and I still detect his Kiwi accent. Enjoy your NZ touring.
Tia's joy at the big things and Cheveyo's obvious disdain for them are both hilarious 😂
Nah, he loves it.
My, how far (most literally) the two former baristas have come... how wonderful their travels have been, and so beautifully documented for us to witness!
Those postcards look so good. I wish you would release box sets for purchase every now and then.
Hobbiton is the first time Tia was larger than the "Tia for Scale" object! Lol. Such a fun tour! Love the Japan postcard also! ❤
Watching at 5am Sunday morning from the top of the South Island, so feeling your early morning pain 🙂
That postcard is 😍. Def your best one yet! I wonder how Cinnamon Bun is doing? We could hear kitty purring!
As usual great video. Another thing with Vegemite, is Vegemite and tomato slices. Have fun guys.
Love you guys for your willingness to show both the cool and silly parts of your adventure!!
Maybe Tia should start a Big Things postcard series! She gets so tickled, which makes me laugh. (But I love the nature ones - gorgeous.)
What a brilliant idea
Probably the best postcard to date, it's amazing.
So glad you’re both “Down Under “ again! Absolutely love following your adventures! ❤ 🧳
Damn, New zealand is beautiful. You two are low key doing some of the best travel documentary footage around
The cat was the best part! 🐈💛And Tia’s beautiful postcard art. 📨💌Thanks for the tour guys🏡❤️
Postcard! Always wanted to see Hobbiton, now I almost did, thanks! 😊
I get to the end of the episode and realise I’ve been smiling the whole time. Love it
I have fallen in love with your videos over the years, you guys have been my biggest source of comfort through the stresses of life. I can’t thank you enough :)
Also your post card looks beautiful as always !!
Tia and Chev! I want that postcard! Looks super pretty! Great job Tia! Maybe a coffee table book of all your postcards when you have collected enough??
Loved the hot springs and the big dog! Cheers john

The reactions to the big sheep dog and sheep is gold 😂😂 oooh postcard 🎉🎉🎉
NZ is such a beautiful country. That postcard has got to be one of your best ☺
My guess is the town you're in that smells of eggs, is one or near one of the volcanic townships (e.g. Rotarura). Their power stations use the heat of the earth to make sustainable electricity!
Loving the series.
The Nachi Falls and the temple was captured beautifully in that postcard! Well done Tia!
As an Aussie, I’ve always hated vegemite so I’m with Tia on this one. Also love the new postcard! Japan is on the bucket list thanks to you both. All the best
We were impressed with your Aussie accent and hope that we hear your Kiwi accent at some point of your journey in New Zealand 🇳🇿
Practice, in a Kiwi accent, "The Sixth Sick Sheik's Sixth Sheep's Sick".🤣
Loving the NZ series so far! Glad you two have put more quality and length into these amazing videos.
And I really do love that you guys manage to find cats in every country 😁😁
Loving the explanation of the big sheepdog lol. We would love to be considered for the postcard also. Japan is on our bucket list.
Another wonderfully beautiful and funny vlog. Am so enjoying watching you both travel the world - it brings back many memories of when our kids were young and we travelled also. Same here on the car plant - brilliant lightbulb moment 😂😂😂😂
You are making me want to visit New Zealand again. I had forgotten how lush it is.
Glad to see you guys enjoying NZ! I love the fact that there are big things here too! The dog is so cute!
hahahaha ok so i actually did laugh out loud when they came across the big sheep dog. Both reactions were priceless.
Wow what a great video 😃 two of my favourite things, cats and Big things 😊 absolutely loving your tour of NZ 👍 keep up the great work 💜 from Australia 🇦🇺

Wonderful that you did the moonlight hot spa thing.......that was great to see........love n light from Perth, Western Australia
Love that Tia found a big thing in NZ. Her joy (and Cheveyo's obvious pain in this case ^^) brings us joy.
13:00 I get it Cheveyo! Totally obsessed with these movies/books and the whole lore.
Found your channel today, you guys are awesome!
Ohhh I love your post cards Tia ❤ you’re adventures are always so interesting and relaxing to watch. Happy travels you two 🥰☺️
I love the quirky roadside attractions that Tia finds! I seek that kind of things out too. A more recent one was an old Shell gas station that is shaped like an actual shell and painted bright yellow. It's in Winston-Salem, NC.
"smells like eggs" thats the high sulphur content in the atmosphere. Many natural volcanic geothermal springs in the area that you may discover...
Your postcards are beautiful, Tia! You are very talented
Thank you 😊
Melted cheese on your toast with a thin layer of Vegemite is the bomb!
Congrats and cheers for having over 70K subscribers! 🥳🥂

Love the new postcard. And laughed too hard at seeing more big things!
Raglan has a hot water beach next door to it, something when you visit the Caves,
their are lots of free features to explore along the coast road,
Loving your NZ video series! We've been meaning to go back for a trip there ourselves and you might have convinced us...
Brings back memories. Lived n a few places on the Coromandel Peninsula.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful walk down Hobbiton. FYI - you might have spread the vegemite a tad too thickly. Hot toast with lashings of butter and thinly spread vegemite - heaven! 😋😁
Yoop yoop - great post card. Loving it
Enjoyed the next part of your trip
