  • In today’s H4H video, we introduce you to tiger nuts, an ancient Egyptian crop that can date back to the 4th millennium BCE. Tiger nuts were widely used as a natural sweetener along with honey and dates in ancient Egypt. The tiger nut sweet recipe featured here is adapted from a wall painting in the tomb of Rekhmira, an Egyptian vizier in the 15th century BCE. In the video, I interpret the painting scene by scene and show you how I come up with the recipe.

this looks like an amazing dessert and that is amazing to hear someone say that a dish 1,000's of years old could be someones favorate dessert.

Thanks for sharing. Chufa nuts grow wild here in North America & we have hundreds of pyramids here. Here in Ohio there are 70 Pyramids.

Very nice work. I made it the other day and was successful. One thing I made myself easy was mixing Sidr Honey with 100% Persian Date Syrup.

@Mindful Blessings please check the facts before making judgments like this. It is hurtful and uncalled for. I published my video Apr 2, 2021 and Max published his Aug 31, 2021.
With that said, while Max and I may cover some of the same historic topics from time to time we approach them in different ways. We have actually talked a bit and appreciate the work each other do. Anyways, I hope that you may find something to appreciate in the different ways we both approach our work as well. Have a good day.

If so, "Tasting History" copied Dig it With Raven and Laura Egiptología. 🙄
Which is ABSURD. This recipe is available in some books about ancient egypt food and ANYONE can do whatever they want with it.

Actauly that fvck, copied her, and he didn't gave her any credit, his video is based off this video, and i figured it out becasue i watched his video, looked for recipe, and google leaded me to this youtube, and his youtube video fully copied this one, and changed stuff here and there to not make it identical, is quite cringe that a 1.8M chanel is copying paste, a 500subs chanel, and give no credit. He could've helped.
