my grandma lives in the same city as ceser. I first saw his illegal pieces and was blown away by the amount of skill and then after a couple of years i googled him and found out how good he is on chill spots and oh my god did my jaw drop😂😂❤❤ Ceser is awesome
@exorthevandal the question now is, have you ever seen your grandma and Ceser in the same room? If not then maybe it's time to take a look through grannies photo album, she might be getting up on her spare time lol
Man this is a real S+ tier list of writers. Every single one of these people is (afaik) a well respected figure in graffiti, if not considered one of the GOATs. Most of them probably been painting longer than I've been alive and all of them still burning just as hard as ever. Huge respect for everyone you mentioned, no exceptions. Special mentions: I looooove Ceser's stuff - so creative yet so well executed across a range of artistic ideas. And it's just "fun" idk. Also shout out to Smoe - not only an incredible writer but also a really humble, nice guy. Legend.
I get to see VAYNE all the time in Atlanta. It’s so cool seeing you talk about him. Been seeing his work since I was like 13, definitely one of my big inspirations
If ever there will be another episode, would love to nominate Edmun from PDF crew. Love that Mister Totem, Vayne, Does and Ceser is in this episode's list
My list as far as people who ive been in awe of or really inspired by would be Saber, Augor, Geser, Boogie, Guzer, Daim, Seen, Monk6, Notice, Jurne, and Touch.
i really enjoy geser's work. probably my favourite graffiti artist. not just his style, but i really like the places he chooses (yeah somtimes it is legal wall for burner, but he often does freights and explores canals/sewers/swamps and similar places. those are my favourite, hidden in the nature on places where noone would expect it) , they have such vibe... and his color schemes match it too.
my favorites are disk, kiss, puppet and circle. all from sweden! puppet don’t paint graff any more but i still like to look at his old burners from the 80/90s
My top 10 graffiti artists in no particular order are Mear One, Retna, Dare, Daim, Ed-Mun, Seen, Camer1, Norm, MadC and Spoare. Honorable mentions: The homie and mentor, Phero1, Emit, Swod, MPek, Zurik, Aura, Peeta, Oil, Askew and Craver.
Yo grim give me your opinion on this so I’ve been writing ovium but I just found out there’s this other deceased writer called ovius he was pretty big in the Bay Area just wondering if I should continue writing ovium I already got up hella with it
if it's not the name of a legend then the name is fair game. Now because the guy has passed, it really is up to you if you want to change the name or not out of respect but in all honesty, i'd keep the name. Firstly, it's not the same name, secondly, he's not a legend, third, you're still early on and no one cares much about you or your work (not an insult, this is just how being new is). As you progress you'll make a name for yourself, and own your own renown so people will respect you for YOU and not relate your name to his. If they do, then they're being a petty child and they can get over it. General tip: dont take anything in graffiti seriously, any issues and drama is equally as childish as children fighting over a juice box. As long as you're kind, and you're smart you'll be fine in graffiti and you wont have to worry about people giving you flack for the name.
@giovannidibella287 let me start by saying I love all of these guy's work, that being said, none of them do abstract graffiti. Soda gets the closest, but more times than not he's just doing abstract art. To merge two art forms you need to maintain the integrity of BOTH art forms, while also having them work together to make a new fundamental set for a single subject matter (in this case a letter), something none of these guy's do. Picasso for example was a realistic artist, he blended geometric shapes into the portraits and balanced the fundamentals of figures with that and BOOM cubism (this is an oversimplification but this illustrates the point). Skenar has sick work, but his stuff is definitively graffiti, with more advanced exterior details that are already present in graffiti. Riot simply does graffiti, just has a lot more elements going around his letters than most people and these elements tends to interact and overlap with his letters, something that's very simple but most graffiti artists don't do. Debza also just does ordinary graffiti. Now, with ALLLL of that said, let's not confuse personal style with a new subcategory of graffiti, or a whole new art. Personal style allows for a wide range, and all these artists are is an example of personal style, not a subcategory.
Yo man, I have a question for you, can a graffiti artist have two names? I mean, for example, a graffiti artist whose name is knos, could be another name, I don't know... eg rovs? and he uses both names illegally on the street, but indicates that the two names belong to the same creator, is this possible? I would be interested in that
Man their all dope but my favorite is zeser LTS KOG he’s style is unique Also Butcher AAA crew he got a 3D psychodelic style And Vomit CHAcrew NOWcrew he’s dope as fuck
i should have videos on the channel for this (overlaps). I've covered it in multiple tutorials, id recommend checking the tutorial playlist that has Chino tag as the cover. should be a black tag on white. As for the basic boxes, i have many many many tutorials on that, you'll find one or two in that same playlist but i recommend watching the newer basic bars video. You'll find that one in the playlist with a blue thumbnail. i think that playlist is called "how to do graffiti all fundamentals explained 2024"

Yo Jon what do you think about abstract graffiti, people like SODA, RIOT1394, SKENAR, DEBZA?
@giovannidibella287 let me start by saying I love all of these guy's work, that being said, none of them do abstract graffiti. Soda gets the closest, but more times than not he's just doing abstract art.

you sure can, one will be your primary name and the other normally works more as an alias and is more of a secondary name.
