Spearfishing Greece - ASD "Dentex"

The Mediterranean has always held an enchanting allure for spearfishermen the world over. Stories of super human divers achieving massive depths while chasing some of the most wily fish species in the world abound.
In this episode we dive with one such super human in his home waters around the Islands of Evia, Skiathos and Skopelos. Dimitris Kollias, founder and editor of Deep Worldwide Spearfishing magazine was a force to be reckoned with and his legacy lives on. Gone but not forgotten. This is African Spearfishing Diaries.

Sweet and sour feelings watching this fellow Greek legend .He was an inspiration for most of us .He wasn’t just a good spearo ,but a mentor ready to pass his knowledge but mostly his passion .Dimitris was One of those guys whose impact in the spearfishing industry lead us spearos instead of competitors become friends ,become a family ,Dimitri’s family ...I m Sure he will be making ambushes for dentex in deep cliffs .Thank you for your legacy Dimitri

greece is a amazing place but hard for spearfishing, not much fish around and very deep. is not it ?

Genreallly yes but there is great fish if you can dive and know where to go. Also need local knowledge big time.
