So no insight was actually gained all he did was torment and manipulate a bunch of young boys. Unethical practices are no more or less likely to produce insight. In the study, their common enemy was not a third larger group but the threat of dehydration in the wild. Which you can liken to climate change, since they are similar types of enemies.
