and the coolest part is that she doesn't have to try to be raunchy and be half naked to get her stuff sold...she's respected for her voice and artistry purely becomes she's so good..and such a master of her trade...love her!..she reminds me of sia...something so timeless about this chick...and she's beautiful

She sounds great here, and I love this song. I think what's up is she's an alto, and the high notes in the original track are at the top of her range to begin with. Singing them on a daily basis has got to put some strain on her.
That vibrato is indicative of an alto in my book, yup. She can sing this higher though, in the original octave. I've seen some other performances. What's happening here is she got surgery at around this time and this was either before or right after, so she had to make it this way basically

I wanna hear the background singers singing individually, especially the woman that sings the high harmony - she sings like it's so easy to keep singing those high notes throughout the whole song.

Let me say something to the haters....would you prefer someone who can sing live and changes it up sometimes with crisp perfection OR the same bullshit all the time that is prerecorded and the artist lip syncs which ends up sounding like a train wreck....think about it!? Props goes to Jesse!

Yes, she was just coming off of surgery, which is impressive. I think Warner wanted to bring it down an octive so she can keep her voice in check.

Am I understanding it wrong or you're saying she's using autotune? If yes, it's not having good ears, she doesn't use any autotune neither here, in other live performances not on her disc. No autotune anywhere. =P
