Purchased one to eventually replace my Sony A6400 for vlogging & UA-cam. Vlogged with t last weekend and it did an excellent job, the autofocus performed well too! Loving this camera so far.
This is the camera I'm looking for coz I do walk tour video. I plan to do a live walk tour weekly. I'm interested in how to set up a live streaming with this camera. I also use gh5. Great video!
I am currently looking around for a camera to record my classroom lessons for my students. I tend to move around a fair bit and the camera will be at the back of the room, how will the GH5 Mark II go, in terms of staying focused on me? I will be shooting on the minimum aperture, so students can see the whiteboard in the video (so no blur), will auto focus have trouble with that? in addition, what's the difference between the Lumix lens and the lecia lens, which one would be better? Thanks in advance!
Great review, thanks! Do you know this camera has Focus Transition like the Gh5? I am thinking about the S5, but is the viewfinder really bad in compare to the GH5 / GH5ii?
Settings change all the time depending on the location, situation and lighting. I shoot with few deferent cameras but the principles are always the same. You need to understand the exposure triangle to effectively control ISO, Aperture and shutter speeds + when it comes to a specific camera like S5, where the buttons are and which focusing mode to use for a specific situation. At the same time, it allows them to release the GH6 at a higher price point? I feel like Panasonic hasn’t innovated for about four years. Panasonic is now just for people that can’t afford Sony.
