What I love about Neytiri’s character is that she’s not just a badass emotionless warrior woman. She FEELS. A LOT. She uses that as her drive, and that makes her really special. Also, not ONCE is Jake like “Damn woman, get your hormones together”. He respects and loves her way of being.

He was desperately trying to seek his family refugee to the water tribe and put that as priority over some words between the 2 women. Common sense sometimes it happens when people say stuff that causes problems and you have someone to validate but you're desperate and have to overlook causing problems and be humble.

Neytiri started a conflict with Ronal, and Jake tried to smooth this moment. Neytiri is proud, she did not like how Ronal treated them and she immediately reacted to this. Jake knows her and he didn't try to insult her, he just took them away from the conflict. In their family, Jake is the softer side.

Neytiri does not deserve all she has had to go through. Hopefully things get better for the Sully Family in Avatar 3 but it's unlikely knowing the RDA.

I loved The Way of Water... but wish that we would have had a bit more screen time with Neytiri.
You shouldn't think of Way of water as a movie. Think of it as episode 2 of 5. We didn't get much screen time of Neytiri and Jake so that the kids can get most of it. The next episodes we'll most likely see more of them.

The Academy Awards are a joke and have been for years. I have pretty much zero interest in them, or any awards for that matter. Box office takings will do me just fine at least when it comes to Cameron. He understands what it takes to get bums on seats in an age where a huge chunk of the population have huge 4K TVs at home and can stream movies the instant they’re released. I guess you could say the Marvel movies of the last decade have done a lot to keep the cinemas open but Cameron truly understands what it takes and can connect with audiences around the world. That his last 3 movies are all in the all-time worldwide top 4 despite being totally original says everything.
Hurt Locker getting best picture over the first Avatar, anyone? Why anyone even gives the Oscars any time at all these days is beyond me!

Neytiri is one of if not my favorite characters since Way of Water. I love love love LOVE her character arc so much. She's emotional without being unreasonable, you can understand where she's coming from and yes, you get frustrated with her!!!! She's so strong but she cries but she can kick ass. One of my favorite scenes is towards the end, they don't shy away from making her fucking terrifying. She's a mother, not only that but a warrior and a lover, an alien who we'll never quite understand because we're different species. And they bank on that beautifuly. I do hope she gets to smile more in the next movie though, she's been through so much and she deserves to.

I took my younger nephews to see Avatar TWOW at a smaller local cinema in 2D , we are in Country Side , I wanted them to see the normal 2D version and then taking them to Science Centre IMAX to see is in 3D so they can see it in its greatest form, there were some younger kids fidgeting a little nearer the end , they literally only looked about 4/5 though and it is a long watch but when Neytiri reacted to events before the assault on the ship ever single one was glued to the screen and didn’t move a peep, the action in this movie is Insane I will never get tired of watching this movie especially the final battle sequence , second to none !!!!
Anybody who appreciates tactics would say Amazing visual but HORRIBLE tactics. Also Jake blows up the ship when his girls are on board.

I love Neytiri, his smile is like light in this dark life that I am living, his eyes are the sun that illuminates my days. I might seem strange, but every time I see her I can't do without her, I would like to hug her and comfort her in difficult moments (even if I am a human), I would especially like to know her and know the life of the na'vi in first person, which will be difficult, but I think that with her I would make it, because from the first time I saw her I love her and I will love her forever.
