In today's video, I'll be showing you how to mix a full bluegrass/folk song from scratch using GarageBand. We start with a blank session, import tracks, and mix the entire song step-by-step, just like you're in the room with me.

Hey Josh great video. Thanks so much. I learned a lot. For future reference perhaps explain in a little more detail what you are doing with each plugin as some of us may have not heard of them. e.g. you used deep in one of the plugins, then relaxed in another track with the same plugin. Would have been nice to know why you chose those. Great work though - thank you and I shall be downloading some of those plugins.
Hey Sabrina!! Thank you so much for the feedback! Relaxed is a lighter compression and deep is basically a heavier compression. Sometimes I just click things and ask myself if it sounded better or worse in my head and then move on haha I will definitely give some more explanation in the next videos. Your mix videos will have a lot of detail as well in them. Talk soon!

I think its time I give up I have no idea what's going on I DIDNT KNOW MUSIC WAS GONNA BE THIS AHRD TO MIX
Don't give up. One day it will just click. You need to be patient with yourself and keep practicing. We are constantly learning with Production. Josh says he is too.
