Nooman that is not exciting football and does not compare well with other top players he currently being compared with or some Africa's past best.... Milla, Eto, Weah, Abedi Ayo Pele etc. Proof is that Mo Salah could no replucate that Pool/Klopp's slash and burn and Egypt was out of AFCON this summer. Worst yet they were playing at home infront of their own crowd. South Africa pressed Egypt high up and was very competitive in the midfield and at the full backs, supressing and destroying any play development from Egypt that could free Mo Salah. In the end South Africa eliminated one the most favorite team in the tournament. In 2017 AFCON final Cameroon's left back Onyongo put up a defensive clinic on Mo Salah which in part resulted in Cameroon victory. The entire design of play has made Mo a top scorer but in my view lesser effective player than he was in previous teams he played with. There is room for disagreement here but overall that's true. I will like to hear from others on this and related claims.
