You forgot to mention the real OP method for this. Play with a friend, the party host leaves after 3 bosses and the party member stays to kill the last boss and complete the mission. The party member will acquire one extra loot pile from the boss and also the end game prize. I currently have it set up so my friend gets. 4 Orbs of Eternity 2 Rare might Items 1 Legendary Critical Hit Item 1 Epic Blessing Item I'm sure you just noticed the "1 Legendary Critical Hit Item", basically the host leaves so he never completes the mission and your friend can now get a guaranteed legendary and a bunch of extra loot EVERY single run. My friend has gotten over 20 Critical hit legendary items and this pretty much makes all of the weapons or item he gets to be top tier. I would have to guess that this is one of the best extra loots you can get in the game.
This is actually how we discovered this method. I just didn’t want to post that portion as I actually feel like that is an exploit. GG for the outside the box thinking though.
This is very interesting. I ran this dream stone a lot cause it was the easiest one to get the high level loot. But whenever I needed electrum I did explore the realms on all the levels because they scale to your level
You can farm the "explore the realm" missions which are all level 50 (even though they say they are lower) Oh and they "Fixed" this exploit. Only drops at the end now.
@@NL_the_Godfather electrum farm is vastly improved in the primal update. thank god. after about 4 to 5 runs in AToT solo I had about 1.2 million electrum. Now if they could do something about dragonsteel
I just got to this dreamstone now, only to be let down by the devs "fixing" this. This was literally the only thing I was playing towards and now there's nothing. With no efficient way to farm loot, there's no reason for me to waste time on it.
Can confirm this still works. Seem to be averaging a legendary every 2 runs or so. Just wish RNGesus would grant me a level 50 archons tear and I've yet to get surety or void shell to drop at any point in the game.
they made it so three spawn all at once and the 4th one spawns once one is executed to make it more difficult. My difficulty is on hard at the moment. EDIT: They still drop legendary gear, I got 5 legendaries for 3 rounds , 3 weapons, 1 stone, 1 amulet

not sure what you mean, do you mean the higher dreamstone guantlets? If so I think the drop % is the same. Also its weird, yesterday I did it a bunch and I'd go 10 runs without getting any and then the next 10 runs theyd drop like crazy. I'm not exactly sure how they determine if they drop legendaries unfortunately
Most people cant even play this game because of shortage of PS5. So they have a lot of time to fix buff, patch, and add new content. Im currently sitting on my ascended version waiting for more PS5's so I can play the game i waited more than a year for.
@@Yellr 3:13 there's your answer for electrum, I farmed the (Acended Tower of Trials Lev 50) currently have over 700k electrum and u get so much loot that becomes a pain to shard it all one by one. You can literally get all the legendary as well as legendary augments in-game by tower alone, very boring and not as fast as your exploit but that's what i ran. P.S your stats can go higher if you upgrade your gear. Nice video btw cheers
@@Dragunov121 yea I did the tower but you don’t get nearly enough gear in there to keep you going back. The tower was what I was looking forward to the most and it was a disappointment for me. Spending 25 minutes to get to the 10th floor and get a few pieces of loot just isn’t enough. Plus imo it should’ve been like greater rifts in diablo where you can restart if you’d like but can also start at the floor you’re currently on. Just my opinion and yea I’ve upgraded my gear as much as I can with the electrum I have lol.

Not to be an ass or something but when i tried this the first 3 bosses dont drop any loot oor electrum. Just health orbs and archon fury charges. I wouldnt be surprised if it got fixed

This is absolutely no exploit since you are not getting the real loot, the resources, that need you to kill the fourth one and finish the Dreamstone completely.

Just playing a few days ago and this explains why the loots drop at the end now for gauntlets. Only good way now to farm electrum is from ascended tower which I’m still struggling as solo because of the cost of upgrades as a new lv50 player
I disagree entirely, climbing the tower takes too long to get any legendaries. I can get at least 10-15 legendaries an hour using this method and in the tower possibly not get even one. The tower is there to test your skills and possibly give you better end game loot. Not gear up for the tower
@@pfontanesi ok so, yes to have a chance at your BIS weapon you do the tower, but for farming gear you use this method. You have to reach level 10 in the tower and without gear that’s hard enough. Literally everything else can be dropped here and much quicker. I wish you were right, that’s how I thought the game would work, but it doesn’t. I spent nearly 2 hours climbing the tower yesterday and got one legendary hammer that isn’t useful for me. That’s not efficient farming.

I am going to do this until I have a lot of currency again. I think it better to farm exalted Solaris if you can afford to spam it. The bosses in this game always drop 1 legendary unlike these. This game is extremely grindy and is meant to be played co-op. Unfortunately, on ps5 I have no friends .... so I’m progressing solo/ no matchmaking. These elite mobs don’t guarantee legendaries. I think how it was extended to be play is. You go ascended tower for electrum and you go to dream stone for cores to use to access the tower. The tower is god awful. I am not strong enough to get far in the ascended tower. So thank you for an alternative method. Sad part is not many solo players may even be able to make to this point. I am stuck on exalted lunastra.
While they don't guarantee legendries I still found it the most effective way to not waste electrum and get Legendries. Yea I could make a Solaris Guide as well to help others.

I can not confirm 100% and maybe there is boss specific loot but I’ve gotten a lot of the legendaries from them. I still have yet to have my void spear drop anywhere but from what it seems they can drop pretty much anything

If they could add anything to this game, matchmaking is a no brainer. I'd also say having a collections tab somewhere would be useful so you know what items are obtainable in-game. Perhaps even a way to purchase items in said tab after earning them (Destiny 2) for new stats/elements, or even a reroll system (Diablo 3). A way to level up any items you picked up on the way with good traits would be nice too. Sadly that zero's sword is just going to sit there at level 1.. forever.. not even a stash to slip it into that can be accessed by inv/valorplate but NOT forge. (Shrug) I hope the future expansion is more promising than its current state.

I was just doing it an hour ago and it was fine. Sometimes you just have streaks without legendaries. Also I play it on Normal/Hard, I dont know if difficulty matters but I dont think it does between easy/normal

@@808nemec I can’t tell if you’re trolling or just defending the game because you think it’s the right thing to do, so let me preface this with I obviously love the game or I wouldn’t make content for it, but it has major flaws that pretty much everyone sees, aka the reviews. But I’ll break it down for you and that will be my last reply to you. This is a new IP on the PlayStation 5 which is pretty hard to get, in case you’re unaware. Meaning that everyone who gets this game on PS5 and wants to play with their friends may not be able to since it’s unlikely their friends got one as well. So right there, a need for solo content. Yes it’s on PC as well but because of this fact and because the end game is supposed to be played with others, they needed to include match making. They didn’t, meaning if you enjoy the game and you want players to stick around so it continues to get updates, you need to offer players something to do when they just want to play and not have to find groups outside of the game via discord or Reddit. If you don’t, you’ll lose some members of the community meaning the game is played less and it dies off quicker. Since you used Destiny, this would be the equivalent of them not adding group finder to dungeons, the game would’ve been not nearly as popular or well received. The fact that you don’t see this is mind blowing considering if you go to the subreddit, everyone there that loves the game is pointing out the same issues. But you keep doing you and daydreaming about how this game is perfect and they couldn’t have improved it.

The lvl 5p is challenging, the dreamstone missions feels somewhat different each time since there are the modifiers changing each time and the buff recived as well. Im 170h into the game and im loving it. Im loving it and from a small studio, from duelist to godfall, they did a freakin great job. Btw why the hell is he saying that the game isnt playable end game solo? I soloed thw whole game and end game on hard avec loved it. If there is 1 issue with the game, its the Solaris' shield on Hard difficulty with full party coop. I can solo that boss on hard with a good challenge. On 3 players, the shield scales so high that we cant even destroy one shield before losing all our lives.
@@DrSmashTTV I’m glad you love you it, but you’re in the very small % of people that do. Once you can clear the tower which doesn’t take too long there is no incentive to play. Checkpoints in the tower, being able to save your progress and come back even would be better than the current system. No loot past floor 100, dreamstones cost too much electrum, no leaderboard, no loot scaling from different difficulties, same loot drops from everything. I think saying they did a great job is a stretch, they did a good job and made the combat enjoyable enough. A few small changes would make this game into something great.

@@Goddess_chick yea, my biggest complaint with the game is they didn’t make a more enjoyable way to farm endgame. Imo make the tower a bit easier floors 1-15 and make it have better higher scalin loot so there is a reason to do it

It is a balance.. people want easy way to get stuff that takes just the right amount time to get and still feels rewarding.

Unfortunately this was patched as of the recent update. Now the best way to farm is dreamstone bosses for legendaries or tower for electrum

You can always farm the normal tower for electrum, thats a bit easier and still gives a lot.
Dreamstones are just for the skill points, do it once and leave it... the Tower is the end game content for farming gear

I can not confirm 100% and maybe there is boss specific loot but I’ve gotten a lot of the legendaries from them. I still have yet to have my void spear drop anywhere but from what it seems they can drop pretty much anything
@@Yellr me and a friend have been doing a good bit of testing, if you ever need help testing stuff it’s easier in a group for sure because you can split the cost

Well yea, that's my point and why I said that. There should be matchmaking and its ridiculous that there isn't. If I play on PS5 and none of my friends have a PS5 I'm screwed unless I wanna go join a discord. I'm not sure what the point of this comment is, you just restated my point.

If they could add anything to this game, matchmaking is a no brainer.
I'd also say having a collections tab somewhere would be useful so you know what items are obtainable in-game.
Perhaps even a way to purchase items in said tab after earning them (Destiny 2) for new stats/elements, or even a reroll system (Diablo 3).
A way to level up any items you picked up on the way with good traits would be nice too. Sadly that zero's sword is just going to sit there at level 1.. forever.. not even a stash to slip it into that can be accessed by inv/valorplate but NOT forge. (Shrug)
I hope the future expansion is more promising than its current state.
@@tjswanson6953 couldn’t agree more, you got the guy by the forge who just sits there, you can’t see your resistances, can’t reroll secondaries and I have to cheat to get the legendaries I wanted lol.
Also the tower should be like greater rifts imo. Climbing it every time is so rough

I was just doing it an hour ago and it was fine. Sometimes you just have streaks without legendaries. Also I play it on Normal/Hard, I dont know if difficulty matters but I dont think it does between easy/normal
I must just be very unlucky because we are now at 9 runs no legos lol. running on normal

plays obviously co-op game complains about solo play . . lol sounds like another destiny waa waa, p.s playing low level missions for electrum yea nah, just do the open world objectives smashing everything and everyone over 100 000 in about an hr . . i dont see the problem

@@808nemec I can’t tell if you’re trolling or just defending the game because you think it’s the right thing to do, so let me preface this with I obviously love the game or I wouldn’t make content for it, but it has major flaws that pretty much everyone sees, aka the reviews. But I’ll break it down for you and that will be my last reply to you.
This is a new IP on the PlayStation 5 which is pretty hard to get, in case you’re unaware. Meaning that everyone who gets this game on PS5 and wants to play with their friends may not be able to since it’s unlikely their friends got one as well. So right there, a need for solo content.
Yes it’s on PC as well but because of this fact and because the end game is supposed to be played with others, they needed to include match making. They didn’t, meaning if you enjoy the game and you want players to stick around so it continues to get updates, you need to offer players something to do when they just want to play and not have to find groups outside of the game via discord or Reddit. If you don’t, you’ll lose some members of the community meaning the game is played less and it dies off quicker.
Since you used Destiny, this would be the equivalent of them not adding group finder to dungeons, the game would’ve been not nearly as popular or well received. The fact that you don’t see this is mind blowing considering if you go to the subreddit, everyone there that loves the game is pointing out the same issues. But you keep doing you and daydreaming about how this game is perfect and they couldn’t have improved it.
@@Yellr lmao i agree there is tonnes wrong with the game, i.e being able to solo the end game, ive already platinumed it! cant say i didnt enjoy it tho just dont see an issue with games not having matchmaking, there are quite frankly very easy work arounds, sonys community lfg on the playstation itself works a treat for such things really dont see the problem, when did i say it was perfect,? . . matchmaking is the least of its problems in my opinion, the lack of variety would be my main issue, and even tho i dont agree that it was hard to get electrum i do agree that the cost of things doesnt warrent doing the same thing so much just to level up to play a slightly harder version of the exact same thing . . i shld have probly been a lil clearer yes it shld have matchmaking i just dont see it as a big issue if u want to play with people u can with little effort, and everything can be played and achieved solo so really dont get the issue

@@Yellr personally i love the end game. The lvl 5p is challenging, the dreamstone missions feels somewhat different each time since there are the modifiers changing each time and the buff recived as well. Im 170h into the game and im loving it. Im loving it and from a small studio, from duelist to godfall, they did a freakin great job.
Btw why the hell is he saying that the game isnt playable end game solo? I soloed thw whole game and end game on hard avec loved it. If there is 1 issue with the game, its the Solaris' shield on Hard difficulty with full party coop. I can solo that boss on hard with a good challenge. On 3 players, the shield scales so high that we cant even destroy one shield before losing all our lives.
@@DrSmashTTV I’m glad you love you it, but you’re in the very small % of people that do. Once you can clear the tower which doesn’t take too long there is no incentive to play.
Checkpoints in the tower, being able to save your progress and come back even would be better than the current system. No loot past floor 100, dreamstones cost too much electrum, no leaderboard, no loot scaling from different difficulties, same loot drops from everything.
I think saying they did a great job is a stretch, they did a good job and made the combat enjoyable enough. A few small changes would make this game into something great.

@@Goddess_chick yea, my biggest complaint with the game is they didn’t make a more enjoyable way to farm endgame. Imo make the tower a bit easier floors 1-15 and make it have better higher scalin loot so there is a reason to do it
