- This is a short and snappy review of the Zontes G1 Scrambler by someone who recently passed their CBT and got this as their first bike.
Here's the short and sweet of it: You won't regret it!
Do a long term review, would look forward to it.
I have one of these, im 52 not looking for speed etc, its an amazing bike, don't knock the Chinese bikes these days, and often get stopped by people liking it, it rides really well and u feel like yr on a bigger bike. A worthy buy 😊
Great review, short sharp and to the point, no dressing just straight to the topic, cheers :)
I have mine for about 2 and half years 20000kms still rocking not a single problem just do the maintenace on time and is a good buy
I am thinking about getting this bike soon, and by most reviews it seems as if it's the perfect starter bike, would love to hear your opinion on that. Love the video btw!
it certainly was, I had an absolute blast on it whilst I owned it, I’ve moved on to a bigger bike now, but don’t regret riding this to get experience on.
Hi Greg, just wondering if the zipper on your tank bag is metal. As you finish to describe the issue with the paint chipping you place your bag down and it looks as though the zipper lands roughly where those chips were.
brilliant owner review thank you. im learning for A1 but wanting a 125 to gain experience & insurance ncb
Yes absolutly mate, i have the same bike and i have not regretted. Price quality look equipment….. all Top 👍
Nice bike does it feel faster than any other 125s
I’ve ridden with few friends on 125’s and despite me being the heaviest, I keep pace with them easily!
Goooooooood
Why did you got the old model?
New one is cool, black with gold wheels and new LCD display.
bought it used for a song, couldn’t pass it up! new one definitely looks nice!
Nice review. Where did you buy the rear rack?
You can get them from Ali Express or Amazon here: amzn.to/3sG1Tc7
Hi Greg,
I’ve been playing with the idea of getting this or the 350 as you said budget is a factor.
It would be brilliant if you could give us an update. As besides the paint chipping around the petrol cap have you had any other issues?
Also at what speed is the bike it’s happiest at, im guessing 45 or 55mpg?
I've had mine nearly 7 months, love it. I think you meant mph rather than mpg? It happily sits at 60mph no probs at all, and I'm a fat bastard. Will go 70 on a motorway but takes time to get there. If you did mean mpg, I've not had less than 88mpg, in summer it was upto 94mpg. Easily 350 miles to a tank, I've never let it lower than 2l in tank so would prob do 400 miles to a tank.
@@samoneill9282 sorry Sam I did mean mph but it was still great to know about the mpg too.
I’m so glad you are still enjoying the bike and definitely want to get on the road again once I’ve done my cbt again (I didn’t renew it… but itching to do it again)
@@tonypowell6669 I'd never not reccomend it, absolute beaut of a motorbike. I can't help but wash it at least twice a week, it's so pretty when clean!
hi dude how tall are you?
I’m 180cm / 5’11” and can comfortably flat foot both feet. :)
