I can't believe that Craig of the Creek is already over. I was like 12 years old and in middle school when it first came out, and at the time of writing this comment, I'm now 19 and attending college. Craig and his friends really came along way in this series, and to be honest, it really did taught a lot of lessons about growing up. I didn’t really see the whole series but now that you reviewed all of it, I really love this series. Not just because it’s another mega story arc show like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and others, but also about how much realism it had on every lives including yours Roundtable. Craig of the Creek to me was always like a spiritual successor to Hey Arnold! and a bunch of other properties I came across over my relatively short life. It perfectly encapsulates the simplicity as well as the complexities of childhood and life in general. Despite it being a kids show about creative play, it managed to flesh out characters of various ages and make them relatable to the point where you see yourself and the people in your life in them. It also managed to tackle some deep themes without feeling patronizing or over the top. Everything from representation to grief and trauma and the all too real fear of uncertainty and not knowing what the future holds was done in such a believable and heartwarming manner. In regards to the last four episodes of the show, I can honestly say I see them as the most impactful and important episodes that the creators put out. As someone who is fast approaching age 29, and has still not gotten his shit together, "The Elders of the Creek" episode resonated with me greatly. I am afraid of change, but I'm more afraid of not trying to make a change and being stuck for the rest of my days. A lot of that stems from my issues with people, like Mark. Seeing him make an effort and start to move on with his life was inspirational. "JP's Bucket List" was actually deeper than I expected it to be. JP talking about how he's going to be in 7th grade soon and how he's not going to be able to do the stuff he's been doing anymore really got to me. Seeing as bucket lists typically contain things people want to do before they die, it could be said that JP's Bucket List has all the things he wants to do before his childhood ends. Him, Craig, Kelsey, and Mortimer adding more to the list at the end so that they can go on more adventures and make the most of their time together was perfect. "The Little Warrior" gave me the same vibes as the Rugrats Mother's Day special. Grace leaving behind that book for Kelsey felt a lot like Chickie's mom leaving behind her journal to let him know she's always with him. It's a beautiful story about inner strength, courage, and how a genuine connection between loved ones transcends time and death. What more can be said about "See You Tomorrow At the Creek" that hasn't been already? It is pure perfection. Bernard's send off, Craig completing his map, the party, the last look at all the kids, and Craig and company just taking it all in and being in the moment. You couldn't ask for anything better. Also, that selfie reminded me of the last scene from The Owl House finale. Craig of the Creek is the perfect representation of childhood and its impact on all people. It's pure, it's real, and it's all about how beautiful life can be.

I not the kind of person to cry often but this show’s finale made me sob bittersweet tears. Its comforting knowing that Craig and his friends can continue their fun and adventure even if we don’t get to see it. If I could live in any cartoon it’d be this one
I’m 30 years old. I binged this series 2 months ago and have been watching the last episodes as they were released on MAX. Without a doubt my favorite Cartoon Network show from the last decade maybe even more. It took me back to being a kid and playing outside and riding my bike with friends and seeing different neighborhoods and learning more about the area I lived in. This show was great and I will cherish it.
Oh my god knowing how much this show means to you makes it mean that much more to me. I’m so sorry for your loss, im so glad this show was there when you needed it
@@giovanimorales774 Hulu, Disney+, and Max collaborated together for streaming bundle to share their shows, thus why you see Cartoon Network shows on other services, but something happened on Disney side that caused them to upload the final four episodes on August for one day. It’s not the first time that Disney pulled this stunt (they did it before with Amphibia twice)
Just binged the entirety of this show. Man I didn't think I needed this show as much as I did. Its truly amazing. It hit me in places I didn't even know. I touched so many things I wish I could have learned/known about when I was younger. This show has changed me for the better.
a show I really latched onto during the times of the pandemic & when I lost members of my family in the early parts of the 2020's. I can't believe the show is over but I am glad it exists to be enjoyed by not just myself but by any future folks.
My mom put this show on once. She said “this cartoon is so funny” and honestly IT WAS SO GOOD FOR A “kids show”. Although I didn’t find it or keep up with it as much, I’m gonna miss it.
Craig of the Creek was the show we needed, especially after the pandemic. The diversity of characters, the messages of friendship, family & responsibility all made it a worth while watch. My son & I used to watch it together all the time, I was truly sad when he aged out & stopped watching CN altogether.
I love how some of the celebrities were so into this show, like Lil Rey Howery and Missy Elliot, and even anime VAs were so hyped for this cartoon like Aleks Le and Zeno Robinson. I hope the creators would talk about the planned episodes that got cut because of the Warner bros merger. (Got this theory they had one more sleepover episode with Sparkle Cadet)
I started watching Craig of the Creek as a freshman in high school. I had been in foster care and i was going through a dark time in my life. It helped me find things i loved to do. Draw, write, read, and to be my nerdy self. To love and accept it. And im really sad to see it go but i loved how this show just made you feel at the end of the day.
This show was there for me while I was in and out of the hospital (for about two years) a few years back. I saw it on Cable TV a few times while I was in an out of resting periods, and absolutely fell in love with its story and characters. It helped me feel inspired to draw again while I was in, and even while I was out at home- just waiting to be sent back again.
I will miss Craig of the Creek. I really hope the put out a physical DVD set for this show. This show gave me similar feels when I rewatch Hey Arnold. The characters, the creek, and beautiful animation are truly one of a kind.
I just finished watching the last episode of Craig of the Creek. The truth is that ever since I saw that there were a few more episodes after Heart of the Forest, I was very hyped for them. I still have a few episodes of the sixth season left to watch, but having seen the last episode (180 according to wiki, See You Tomorrow Ay the Creek) I can only say that finally after so many years, I can feel completely satisfied with the end of a series. You can feel not only the deep narrative, the development of the characters, but also the fact that they were able to develop the story along with the sub-narratives in a splendid way. I wish Cartoon had paid more attention and given more publicity to this series finale. The amount of series that are so big and that manage to close the plot in a conclusive way, can be counted with the fingers of one hand. Thank you very much Craig of the Creek.
Really loved this series and want to show it to my nieces and nephew when they get a bit older so im hoping that somehow there's a physical release. I will miss it.
I watched the finale just yesterday, perfect ending to a show that was consistently sweet and fun. I related to Craig and his relationship with his brother Bernard.
Well done analysis. I’d forgotten some of these things. I’m glad you found it helpful for your own situation. Even now a year later it feels strange not to be working on the show, but I’m happy so many people enjoyed it. I actually appear in the movie & last episode as a side kid. Thanks for watching & best wishes Mark T Collins COTC editor -ps 10 episodes of Fiona & Cake are coming.
you have been amazing i watched all your videos growing up on gravity falls, steven universe and even up till now craig of the creek and i loved every single one of them. you inspire me to always love what i love and to stay positive1!!! much love1! i will always be ur fan :D
Holy shit, they're back covering on peak, i'll miss you guys covering this show and this show running since it's sad this show is now over, meaning no more original shows for probably a while, I still have some hope.
I'm still waiting for someone to make a decent to amazing RPG out of this show, it feels like it could be one of those cozy, laid back games where you just travel around the creek and just take in the simple beauty of this world built on the imaginations of all the creekgoers. Ngl I also wouldn't mind an irl Bring Out Your Beast CCG (or mini-game since I'm talking about a game)
one crazy thing that happened while watching the movie, was my very young brother putting down the tablet to watch it with me whilst eating chicken nuggets he asked me to make him. craig of the creek is such an aura
Me too I’m Miss Craig of the creek it was really one of the only shows on Cartoon Network at the time that was surviving. The rest was kind or cancelled.
I know im late to the party, but this show really put its mark on cartoon network, and im glad to see the last of the 2010's and im glad this area of animation gets a proper close.....see you later space cowboy
It's such a nice, genuine and warm show. Very corny message ahead To be honest? I kind of missed when you'd talk about it and I was kinda bummed when you stopped after that arc... but I get it because of the algo It is such a powerful thing when artists in media- when they write and make things to resonate with people and genuinely care about the stories they are crafting. Media can be a powerful thing, stories can have important messages that reasonate with people I wish more people of all ages appriciated COTC, and it got to stand on it's own but many shows do slip under the cracks. (some of my favorite shows do, like Motorcity from the same creator of Megas, Chris P) But the COTC crew still cared. They wanted to make a show that could resonate with all sorts of people, and knowing because of the internet that there could be anyone watching the show. I started when I was 15 and the witches of the creek felt like a direct callout to me personally. I felt wow! They really know all sorts of people want to watch this silly show! It was a show that caught my eye and went straight thru my heart What I like about the show is that it doesn't stereotype gen alpha/gen z kids, it proposes that the desire to explore nature and play is within every kid and everyone. That it's not simply "immature" (maturity in this black and white way is sort of a social construct as seen with the old green poncho), but comes from a genuine place. It's selfishness and assumptions that are the basis of true immaturity. Not earnestness. Many people assume children's shows or animated shows and media have simple straightforward writing. I don't think so. I think they can have straightforward stories but the writing still can be surprisingly layered and complicated. Many do. This is all thanks to writers who tried the best for all their projects and looked past the stereotypes of their demographic. Who saw the potential in their work, and wanted messages that would resonate. Or it wasn't "just a show" to them. Usually a show is a highlight in someones career. Writers in TV shows have the power to get personal with their audience in a way that's more than "parasocial" and isn't always superficial. That isn't always corporate and bleak. Stuff like this matters in bad times, but in general. That stories can be powerful, to cheer someone up- to teach lessons- to see ourselves in. Something like an non direct "you matter", a funny joke- an embrace of the silly can help uplift us as well. I remembered how much OK KO and every other show I've seen uplifted me, how much it made me laugh? How joyful I was? Hadnt felt that way before. When writers sneak in an inside joke or a refrence to their hometown, and you get it a little? It feels good! When you see creatives could have had fun making what you are watching, your heart feels a bit warmer. When you feel that effort, you smile or think to yourself on how they must have felt. Regardless of what it is, it can have a strong impact. I hope people know that I'm glad after all the comparisons, the show was able to stand on it's own + love the past and be something for the present. Craig of the Creek really wanted to be a show that mattered to people, and it did. It's 2025, I think it's time we acknowledge the importance of a good story. How "deep" everything is. Go back and revisit your favorites or watch search for the goldmine somewhere in the new. Keep an open mind on new series! They deserve it. Craig of the Creek was truly a landmark show. Jessica's Big Little World was nice too, and I agree that it has the potential to resonate more than Bluey. It has a different style to many preschool shows. When shows resonate with people, that's a special thing. We all also might benefit from uplifting stories as well, not just super gritty ones ❤ Regardless if it's old or new or sticks or doesn't, art always has the power to resonate with people. If anyone in a creative field is struggling I hope you know that ❤ I think art's ability to resonate will win over greed Thank you Crew of The Creek and thank you The Roundtable too. You've created a good impact on my life, I've connected with so many stories over the years. That series finale was one of the most beautiful I've seen. COTC was beautiful and more complex than many would think. Many creek kids came from a real place, memory, or person. I saw myself heavily in Sparkle Cadet growing up with Sailor Moon and strongly resonating with it. I felt like she came from some place real. I hope we all will be able to preserve, love and cherish Craig of the Creek and many other animated shows for years to come. Sometimes the impact stretches past the airdate, and COTC feels like one of those shows that has had and maybe will continue to have an unmeasurable impact. See you tommorow 🌳💕
My god, i remeber when i was 8 watching the episodes. I loved it and watched it ovr the summer..thank you COTC for bringing me joy, ill always love it Also fr me during the finale- dont cry..dont cry
I watched the final episode without reading the episode description. As it pulled away from Craig, JP, and Kelsey at the end, I was thinking "This would be a great place to end the show". Then I went to read the episode description, and learned it was in fact the final episode. Then I was sad.
This video hit me so much in the feels. Craig of the Creek did so many amazing things in its time on CN. It was a masterclass of representation. It had heart and captured childhood wonder so well. With incorporating mature themes. This being the last major show from CN from the 2010s really makes me sad. Its an end of an era.
I was never super into this show (just wasn't on my radar all that much) but when I did watch it, it always made think back to simpler times when my friends in the neighborhood and I would play up in the woods near my house. For context, I'm almost sixteen, but with the pace the world's going in right now, I feel like I'm in college or something. Man, time really does fly when you're having fun. You don't really know it then, but those are the times that shape who you become.
im glad we share the similar emotion about craig of the creek I remember when it first premiered back when I was in high school and watching it with my twin brother, we both felt the potential of this show immediately and shortly after watching a few episode we fell in love with it and the old CN vibes it gave off. Hopefully we can get get another spinoff.
16:49 so funny story I showed this scene to my mom because my uncle tried to cut my hair and it didn’t work out good so it was very relatable in the moment, lmao! 🤣
My only gripes are more or less episode ideas: 1. The Creek during the 1st Capture the Flag (70s/80s) and *WHY* it happened 2. A few more sleepover episodes (with other characters like Wildernessa and the king's champions) 3. What if the parents found out about their kids activities in the creek and their response. The results could border from totalitarian, authoritarian to downright dystopian
I started to watch Craig of the craig and Summer camp island during covid times, I didn't watch it before because I was working and I think CN only aired it in the mornings, but being in my home was perfect, I remember watching it and felt in love with the show, loved the idea of kids just being kids and reminding me those simple times, for me it was a great escape of everything that was going on, they stood next to me when I lost my job, then again when my house got robbed. I know that those kids are animated but the feel so alive, I care for them as my friends jajaja, I will miss this show
I really really am going to miss Craig of the creek, it genuinely is just such an amazing show, with such great representation and just everything that makes you miss about being a kid
When I first watched Craig of the creek it really seemed nice.. I stopped watching it until now. Growing up my family wasn’t really supportive especially my dad. I felt so inspired when I watched it I was always a creative kid so just doing anything like art calmed me down. I thank Craig of the creek for picking me up and my lowest and showing my real personality.
To me Craig of The Creek was the childhood I never got to experience, I didn't have a lot of friends so I never had the standard childhood I wish I had and watching this series was like getting caught up on all I missed as a kid

Yeah, I guess so....
Isn't one new show coming? About some black girl and finding out about her powers (Idk how to spell the name)
@@Ezekiel.T we even have secret agent came back
@Ezekiel.T Iyanu is fully produced by an outside company, with CN having agreed to distribute.
I not the kind of person to cry often but this show’s finale made me sob bittersweet tears. Its comforting knowing that Craig and his friends can continue their fun and adventure even if we don’t get to see it. If I could live in any cartoon it’d be this one
Well, that was the last original CN show for a while. Goodbye, Craig of the Week. We'll miss you! ❤😭🤧
it will take a while before Cartoon Network will cook up something
I’m 30 years old. I binged this series 2 months ago and have been watching the last episodes as they were released on MAX. Without a doubt my favorite Cartoon Network show from the last decade maybe even more. It took me back to being a kid and playing outside and riding my bike with friends and seeing different neighborhoods and learning more about the area I lived in. This show was great and I will cherish it.
More Adventure Time and Regular Show?
18:42-18:48 sorry for your loss buddy.
It reminds me that behind the channel AwestruckVox is a real person, I just know him as the Steven Universe Guy
I can't imagine how hard that must be to deal with
Oh my god knowing how much this show means to you makes it mean that much more to me. I’m so sorry for your loss, im so glad this show was there when you needed it
This show was one of the best, sad to see it end but also happy it happened 💔
Damn dude I'm so sorry, I'm glad you had something to pull you through
This is how I find out Craig of the Creek ended?! :(
Well the good thing is that you didn’t watch them early when Disney leaked the finale a few months ago
@@bigguy952 wdym disney leake it
@@giovanimorales774 Hulu, Disney+, and Max collaborated together for streaming bundle to share their shows, thus why you see Cartoon Network shows on other services, but something happened on Disney side that caused them to upload the final four episodes on August for one day. It’s not the first time that Disney pulled this stunt (they did it before with Amphibia twice)
I lost my partner at the beginning of 2020. Sending love since i know how hard some days can still be. Glad you see you posting so regularly❤
Did you find a new one
Truly an end of an era
Very informative thanks The Roundtable
This video hit all the feels for me. Thank you for making this video.
I can’t believe it’s over, Craig of the creek was an absolute legend of a cartoon
This video is what i come to youtube for... thank you
0:39 Bruh you haven’t talked about this show in Yearssss.
I was flummoxed that you made a video now after all this time. 🤣
This was a good way to end this series off, hopefully we can get another spin off. I will always love this show man. W vid
I watched the finale just yesterday, perfect ending to a show that was consistently sweet and fun. I related to Craig and his relationship with his brother Bernard.
This show is a CRIMINALLY underrated gem.
Well done analysis. I’d forgotten some of these things. I’m glad you found it helpful for your own situation. Even now a year later it feels strange not to be working on the show, but I’m happy so many people enjoyed it. I actually appear in the movie & last episode as a side kid. Thanks for watching & best wishes

-ps 10 episodes of Fiona & Cake are coming.
you have been amazing i watched all your videos growing up on gravity falls, steven universe and even up till now craig of the creek and i loved every single one of them. you inspire me to always love what i love and to stay positive1!!! much love1! i will always be ur fan :D
Gonna miss this show. Love the reruns, but I will miss new airings.
Holy shit, they're back covering on peak, i'll miss you guys covering this show and this show running since it's sad this show is now over, meaning no more original shows for probably a while, I still have some hope.
It's nice what the power of animation has on us no matter what the style I hope your healing well beautiful video
IT ENDED 😔🙏
I loved this show as I got older because it relates to my creativity and my childhood. I'm 16 now
Omg yes iv been waiting for u to do a video on this
Would you doa viseo on miraculous ladybug 😅
one crazy thing that happened while watching the movie, was my very young brother putting down the tablet to watch it with me whilst eating chicken nuggets he asked me to make him. craig of the creek is such an aura
This was a great series. Loved the diversity and overall sweetness of the show.
I haven't seen this show but i wish i had it around during my childhood in the early 2000s 😩
Craig of the Creek will forever be one of my favorite cartoons of all time. Though it ended, it won't be forgotten.
Sayonara, Craig of the Creek.
Tbh, besides like one episode a while ago, ive never watched Craig of the Creek. But this video makes me want to
My favorite thing about this show is that it's like an epic fantasy, except it's just kids in the woods.
It's such a nice, genuine and warm show. Very corny message ahead
To be honest? I kind of missed when you'd talk about it and I was kinda bummed when you stopped after that arc... but I get it because of the algo
It is such a powerful thing when artists in media- when they write and make things to resonate with people and genuinely care about the stories they are crafting. Media can be a powerful thing, stories can have important messages that reasonate with people
I wish more people of all ages appriciated COTC, and it got to stand on it's own but many shows do slip under the cracks. It was a show that caught my eye and went straight thru my heart
What I like about the show is that it doesn't stereotype gen alpha/gen z kids, it proposes that the desire to explore nature and play is within every kid and everyone.
I hope people know that
I'm glad after all the comparisons, the show was able to stand on it's own + love the past and be something for the present.
We all also might benefit from uplifting stories as well, not just super gritty ones ❤
Regardless if it's old or new or sticks or doesn't, art always has the power to resonate with people.
If anyone in a creative field is struggling I hope you know that ❤
I think art's ability to resonate will win over greed
Thank you Crew of The Creek and thank you The Roundtable too.
I loved it and watched it ovr the summer..thank you COTC for bringing me joy, ill always love it
Also fr me during the finale- dont cry..dont cry
God finally this channel covers the amazing Craig of the Creek!
Seven years is a blessing. Most channels like to cancel their shows like two seasons in.
Saw this and had to go back and watch the last 4 episodes again
Getting off of school to see this is not only sad but also very cool
im glad we share the similar emotion about craig of the creek I remember when it first premiered back when I was in high school and watching it with my twin brother, we both felt the potential of this show immediately and shortly after watching a few episode we fell in love with it and the old CN vibes it gave off. Hopefully we can get get another spinoff.
Craig of the creek is my childhood
I really hope that Cartoon Network Finally make new original series this fast at cost.
im gonna miss this show. it made me wish i had this type of childhood in the 2000s
This show means so much to me. I will miss this show for all my lfie.😢 So long Craig of the Creek….
Craig of the creek was amazing! 😊
16:49 so funny story I showed this scene to my mom because my uncle tried to cut my hair and it didn’t work out good so it was very relatable in the moment, lmao! 🤣
17:42 I love that video of shoto's fan
My only gripes are more or less episode ideas:
1. The Creek during the 1st Capture the Flag (70s/80s) and *WHY* it happened
2. A few more sleepover episodes (with other characters like Wildernessa and the king's champions)
I know that those kids are animated but the feel so alive, I care for them as my friends jajaja, I will miss this show
Really hoping a DvD box set of this show comes out. I would love a physical copy of the show!
I really really am going to miss Craig of the creek, it genuinely is just such an amazing show, with such great representation and just everything that makes you miss about being a kid
We reallly need a Craig of the Creek DVD.(the complete series)
such a good show the ending hurts me I'm genuinely crying right now
Finally time to watch it!
I’m gonna miss Craig of the kreek so much as I used to watch it alot as a child!
Thanks AwestruckVox now I’m crying at work
