  • Absolutely no words to describe this place, which is why this video is pure footage and no Voiceover or commentary.
The Doi Inthanon national park is one of the most popular in all of Thailand. Famous for its waterfalls, trails, remove villages, viewpoints, birdwatching and the all year round cold weather due to the higher elevation.
The main entrance to the park is located just over 40 miles southwest from the center of Chiang Mai.
Nicknamed the roof of Thailand, Doi Inathon national park covers an area of 186 square miles in the Chiang Mai Province in the north of Thailand. The park is actually part of the Himalayan mountain range with elevations ranging between 2600 and just over 8400 feet above sea level.
The highest peak in the park is the Doi Inathon mountain which is the highest point in the country.
On the way back down the mountain we stopped by the local market to pick up some fresh fruit and vegetables, all grown in the area and we took this to the Siriphum Waterfall, located on the eastern side of the park.
The Siriphum waterfall is one of Doi Inathons most stunning natural attractions. The area around the waterfall is also great for hiking and offers opportunities to see various wildlife, including butterflies, birds and small mammals.
