LeonCrest got it. It’s the best Defense bey so far. I don’t care what the “naysayers” think. We’ve been hungry for a good (and proper) Defense bey in so long and now we finally have it. It does take some practice to properly utilize it, but it makes all the effort worth it.
The next time a Beyblade enthusiast craps on Leon Crest, just say "Skill Issue".
It's just the stock tip honestly. The stock tip is just flat out bad on the rachet. I was able to tap it with my finger and make it burst
@LuciferArc1 I was really concerned how easy it is to burst it. I thought I got a defective one or something because even wizard arrow doesn't burst as easily as leon crest's bit.
Crest was the Beyblade that made me say "I'm not waiting for Hasbro I want it NOOOOOW!!!!!"
15 imported Beyblades later because I went and got all of UX whilst I was at it and the Black Shell booster is just good in the full parts selection so I grabbed a full set of that.
Bad news is locals is Hasbro locked for fairness.
Good news is Scored a high end 35g Crest. I am VERY happy with that. ^_^
Shoutout to you Nizuma! I used your code at spin city and got LeonCrest and CobaltDragoon and I’ll say I’m VERY impressed with how defensive LC is. The balance is pretty much my only gripe but yeah, it’s awesome.

@@Tuesdayz true! But I have done pretty well at keeping up with the meta despite how outclassed Leonclaw is. I’ve made it to finals or up every time so far.

@@GamerAntman yeah, I think the next big tournament I have is a hasbro event so I won’t be able to use crest for that but hopefully I squeeze a smaller one in before then.

It took TT giving us a mountain to finally grant us the blessings of a Defense blade that can actually defend.

I know it sounds super boring and generic, but probably Orb or Ball are going to be best with it. Then for Rachet either keep it on 7-60 or go 5-60/9-60. This way it should be a solid counter vs every attack type beyblade.
Ball is pretty decent on it, as it doesn’t get pushed to the sides as easily on ball compared to pointy bits
@@JAlonge017 Yeah, plus, Ball has really good stamina.
Hexa does fit it sinxe it has good K.O resistance while having high burst resistance.
1-60 has the best stability out of the ratchets I’ve tested on it
@@p60b4_xxgamerboixx Yeah, but your stamina will be horrible, so you will lose most matchups that aren't vs attack types.
I've had mine for a few days and honestly I love this dude. Gonna be a mainstay in my deck on the offchance there's ever a tournament nearby. Got to learn how to launch for defense types, thoug.
That said, I'm probably sticking with 7-60 because GIRTH, and giving it Gear Ball or the bit from Whale Wave for extra thickness.
Was watching this for reference since i just got my own leon crest. Am really testing it on multiple set ups since i really want to make it work also on different heights. So far 560 seems to work great on it but we'll see after more tests.

Gotta try 7-60 on Weiss Tiger Low Flat. Hopefully 7-60 will help a little bit with the top heavy weight distribution of some beys.

Personally put 7-60 on Dragoon and point, so far it helps with the stability issues it had before on 5-60

Love this bey. Way more viable than previous defense types, knightshield was a pretty good defense type too but i see this lasting longer. I do have some minor concerns and complaints tho, I'm not sure about that 7-60. Seems to burst quite a bit from all the footage I've seen, i don't know if it's because of how wide it is, or that one point sticking out but it doesn't seem to be helping resistance, 9 might still be the best. As for the bit choice, idc about gear needle, i just wish it was red or gold because that color combo is throwing me off.
I haven’t had 7-60 bursting on me at all. Maybe I got a super tight one or something.

Nizuma im with you about putting leon "big mac" crest in the deck. Leon crest is so awesome! now i only need whale wave and my deck is complete,im not in a hurry to have a full deck since im the only BBX blader in sweden lol

I've seen videos about changing only the bit on Leon crest and apparently if it's put on Hexa it's entirely broken in a good way
Yeah 7-60 so far has been the optimal ratchet for it. Been testing different bits

Leon Crest its pretty rad, mine is really stubborn and absolutely refuses to burst or to let go of bits with burst stopper thingies. Id love to know what you thing of LC with Hexa, I've seen a lot of mixed thoughts about it.
I have yet to have mine burst as well.

I tried the 7-90 it was OK, but 5-60 hex and point are good i.m.o glide worked better for me on 9-60

Just got mine today and i love the blade on it. Thicc. Whatever this tip is though SUCKS. I could tap it with my finger and it would cause the rachet to burst. Idk why they used this tip. Its flat out bad on the rachet. A very awkward stock combo but VERY GOOD blade

Problem with crest? If you want to make it a pure def bey, you have to learn how to launch it properly at the right angle. Also 7-60 sucks, its so burstable, changing it to 9-60 with a defensive bit is good but then again, you have to learn how to launch it properly.
Sadly its weak against anything that is semi stamina AKA unite , taper, and ht.
It is what it is, we got an ok def bey, not strong, just very mid
ALSO, stop with the hexa cope, it can take hits but there's no stamina.
