Simply beautiful Clive, loved your tour and commentary. Incidentally, the sound is perfect. Looking forward to joining you on your travels, virtually of course. Stay safe lovely ❤️🕊❤️ xxx
Lovely. Beautiful valet job. We have to pass the Twin Sails bridge and then Poole Town bridge before the harbour and open sea and it’s these that prevent us going to a taller boat (40’+) as we slip under them in all but the highest tides or when our winter covers are up. Last year, on a trip to Swanage bay, we’d stopped, anchored, swum and put thd breakfast out, before we saw the first of the boats we’d slipped past earlier, whilst they awaited bridge lifts. But never say never 👍
What a beauty, I especially like the proper teak decking , this would be an ideal boat for "The Great Loop" in the USA which is a complete loop cruising the intercoastal waterway on the entire east coast, across the Great Lakes and down the rivers from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. Your yacht would be ideal for a few reasons, low air draught for going under numerous bridges, great accommodations, ease of manuvering with the joystick especially in the hundreds of locks and economy of diesel propulsion. Also, audio was first rate, that microphone is a keeper. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos from you.
Thank you for your comments. I have fond memories of the Intercoastal waterway as I lived close to Sarasota in SW Florida for a decade and I was a member of the Freedom Boat Club which was great fun. You’ve just started me thinking, but I would have to win the lottery!
Great to see you back on Lady Di, Clive. As I walked past her to feed ducks and swans by the far end of the Marina (by the river) I noticed she was getting grubby. What a horribly wet winter and we’re still on red boards 🙄. Happy boating season. Luca
WOW!!! What an awesome and fascinating tour guide Mr Leach 😁 Wonderful boat and you must both be so proud of yourselves to have such a thing of beauty. Worth all the hard work and you guys are such an inspiration and love you both. I can just imagine you with your captain's hat on running up and down the river.
Thanks for the video she is looking great. I'm 10 months into my 1st boat ownership sealine s34 and watching videos like yours and others really get me so eager to get to the marina as much as possible and potter lol. Bring on the summer... 🎉
Very long run but the solent is a nice place in the summer. I wanted to take her to ramsgate but lack of experience at the Time and portsmouth has a lot more to offer once your out at sea.
I did Hamble to Eastbourne to Ramsgate to St Katherine Docks. Have a look at these two videos Swanwick to Eastbourne 25 June 2023@cliveleach-theboatman ua-cam.com/video/dp8R3VSwPA8/v-deo.html
She looks fab. We have a Princess V39, on the South Coast. So for that valet what was the price guide . She looks Brill. Flexicovers do a complete dash board cover in the same colours as your cockpit covers . If you haven't got one, well worth it as it protects from the sun, dust etc.
Hi John, Thanks for commenting. I do have a dash cover and I agree that it’s very good to have. The valet was complete and included a teak clean. I’ve not had the invoice yet so I’ll let you know later.
Lovely boat Clive, and great name of course, ;-) Noticed your Small Ship Reg but you didn't mention what make/model you went for. Would be very interested like I guess many other would be. Hope you keep well, greetings to both!!
We all look forward to seeing you use the joystick control and providing us all with all the benefits as you never hear anything positive said about them on most boating videos, yet they are expensive and really can get you out of trouble and save a lot of stress. I think it’s a great idea of yours to maybe have a complete video all about the product and benefits and showing it being used on your boat. I await your comments. Thank you
We have an integral pump in the dinghy storage locker, which we find useful. Plus a 3.5 merc outboard and we fitted a double 240 volt sock in the engine room. The mic is quite sensitive , it picks up the rustle in your coat when you move around. Do you fly a Princess pennant?.
The pump in the storage locker is a good idea and I do have 2 sockets in the engine bay which I use mainly for greenhouse heaters in the winter. I have a Princess pennant and one day I will get it out of the drawer!
And re: joysticks, bow thrusters, etc… why the hell not. Bloody daft purists. I suppose they’d advocate not having power steering on their cars so that they can “really feel” what’s happening 😂😂😂 PS Sound is good.
She’s beautiful Clive ! Thank you for the tour, brought some good memories back of my boating days x⚓️🛥️♥️

Thank you for commenting and the encouragement. I will do a “Joy Stick” video in the not too distant future.
Thank you, very little online showing them fully by a owner
