Such a stunning piece of industrial architecture. Shame that most of the Art Deco control rooms have already been lost throughout the years here in Europe
Gents, your show is really top notch, like professional. I've seen many other urbex channels and they are mostly clowns in comparison. Little respect for safety, preservation, research or documentation with the rest. I believe you are setting the standard. Keep up the good work, be safe, and the book is gorgeous.
As I sit here and watch this from a modern, much less impressive set up control room, the PC's that replaced it all far superior, however much less impressive visually and has much less of the feel that this place would have had, great history!
Every time I watch one of your videos i cry because you are doing the one thing my heart so much desires. Since I was a child I always dream about exploring and visiting old abandoned or forgotten places. And every time I think of it I hate the people in this land more and more. Im a conservative and Im an absolute maniac when it comes to Real history and not the shit they teach you in school today. The reason for crying is that Im living in a country where it is even dangerous to take a stroll alone up our beautiful mountain because of people who does not care 2 fucks about life or irreplaceable and priceless artifacts. They are unable to see any beauty in historical or private property. If a factory has to close down tomorrow in 3 months the entire inside would be gutted and smashed. And with no chance to ever explore because of the danger of putting you life on the line I drive past places with a stone in my heart and with tears of anger and sadness to know I will never be able to see our once beautiful country of which I have never experienced. Thank you for your time and effort so that I may also have a glimps into how everything worked in the old and forgotten days, even if i cannot even explore in my own country out of fear and destruction.
Thanks for watching ! Where are you from? You should challenge yourself to explore it before it gets smashed :) (Unless it's too dangerous) I explored in 75 countries and still alive :)
Love to know was there a game cartridge in the Nintendo system ? It looks like on the console in the control room, above the 2 ashtrays is a similar stepped piece of wood, but with a square hole that maybe had a lighter in it! Hope they do open it to the public!
Wederom een mooie video! Jammer dat jullie niet in de fabriek konden komen, maar daar ga je vast nog wel eens een poging wagen 😁👍🏻 Zeker een mooie controle kamer!
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath I grew up in London, have not been back since the 90s, heard they recently renovated the old Battersea site and bits of it have been preserved by the national Trust. Would love to go back and see it again. Enjoying the exploration videos, great channel 😊
But what the heck is still on in that powerhouse? Great to hear it's being preserved - like many of the places you visited, I'd have liked to camp out there for a few days ...
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath Ok, dat heb je toch al een keer eerder gedaan met je vriendin toch Bob ? , bizarre beelden waren dat.....nu dus weer terug ?
Thank you guys for doing this in my country! When I wrote "Urbex Romania" in UA-cam.... I was REALLY hoping there will be romanians doing this, but I'll "settle" for you guys!
That sounds like a transformator? Pretty shure those sounds do not come out of thin air :P Anything like that wouldbe seen as a fire hazard in the Netherlands. But you are not at the royal Shell. Smoking would probaly do no harm if there are no explosive protection gasses. (I would not think they want to gas theire workers).
Magnificent. A cathedral to man's ingenuity. A perfect culmination of science, design, art, and the desire to lead mankind out of the darkness.
Thanks for the poetic comment!
We watchers are so lucky to have you guys take us along with you on your adventures!!
Awesome Sirius Tv 📺🥰
glad to see you making these Romanian exploring videos :))
I love how you guys really manage to set the mood with these perfect images and music 👌🏼👌🏼

Saw the snapshot in the previous video, was waiting for this one!
Hope you liked it☺️

Thanks ! Soon you can really explore with us. Long 360 walkthroughs :)
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPathin the intro, the round building in the snow, what episode is that from?
So many gauges, switches, clocks, and cool lights, so little time... Very cool place guys...
Nice to see everything not busted up and no graffiti. Definitely like the control room love the art deco look. Awesome video
Man, those industrial installations are incredible, its like going back in time. Nice video!
I really think that the thing you called ashtray at 7:51 is in fact a double inkwell. My great-grandfather used to have similar.
Ah thanks for the comment! There were some cigarettes inside I believe.. maybe they smoked in there secretly😂
Salutari din Romania.....Greetings from Romania, nice video
Salut! Ai idee unde este centrala electrică din video in ce oraș?
I think those were ink reservoirs for fountain pens in the control room. The grooves in the base to hold the pens. :-)
Thank you
Thanks for watching ! :)
The photos of previous control rooms you visited were stunning!
Thanks! I have so many more 😮😬
Howdy folks! Can't wait to see this !
Amazing art deco one :)

awesome photos , great video
Sulzer is a Swiss pump manufacturer. I can only assume that was the feedwater pump which controls the pressure in the waterwalls of the boiler.
Looks like the control room at Battersea Power Station London
It's the same style as the A side of Battersea indeed (Which I explored too back in the days)
