Nice,The copper wire ,most likely be for the cables ig brake, clutch, spark plug leads, that sort of thing, that can take abit of skill, make some spitys first,be interesting on a diarama, I have a tamiya us bike, but the thunder models looks really good, and unusual being an Indian, the us army in world 11,mainly used Harley Davidson, but Indian were as good in my opinion, nice ,good review, cheers mate.
No worries kitsnbit, ah yes of course that'd be what the cable is for, nice touch that. Like i said in the vid i have the Scammels, they are really nice, will WITB them at some point.
Hi Andy. Now a bike eh ? Well I have had about 17 in real life so I think that I am all biked out. But if its in 1/35 then you could use it in a diorama. Use nail clippers for the copper wire. Keep your eye open when you are walking around for other bits of wire. Not all cables are the same thickness on a real bike. Also always go a bit long on the cables so if you get it wrong you can always trim it back more. A little tip for photo etch, anneal it over a candle or lighterthat way it takes the springyness out of it,that means it will stay where you put it. Also you will a couple of different types of superglue. Quick setting and slow setting. Anyway have fun with it pal.
Hi Andy, Have had some olive drab paint laying about for a while from when I used to build Bolt Action tanks and was wondering what to do with it. Am really tempted by this kit. By the way both Masterbox and Miniart do some 1/35 motorcycle kits a comparison review might be something worth considering for the future.
Hi Eric, i am not that much of a motorbike fan TBH and building them does seem to be a bit of a challenge, though i am aware of the "Indian" brand and was excited to see it as a kit, i do have some Tamiya and Italeri kitsfor BMW's and Zundapp's, though i suppose i might have to try and find myself a suitable Norton or Triumph and probs a Harley and some pretty Italian bikes oooooooh and one of those cool Russian ones..........You see what you have started now LOL. BTW its a really nice kit i got it from puzzlecraft £24.95 free P&P on additional items after you pay £3.95 for the first item, best deal i could find.
