Nobody plays like Slash. Snobs criticise him for slip ups while playing, which in all honesty he does sometimes. But it's MF'in Slash! This man plays from heart and soul. That improv he did was a unique one off, he did that on the spot. This is a legend.
That song features the true definition of a face melting solo! And I think that the crowd was just mesmerized by the genius before them that was Slash!
Best concert I have been too. They played like they were playing for 100 thousand but our crowd was only about 2 thousand. Only difference was that our crowd was crazy and we were acknowledged for it.
Slash and Myles Kennedy are incredible!!!! There are some many good songs!! Please check Mind Your Manners, World On Fire, Wicked Stone, Bent To Fly, etc... And PLEASE, use that beautiful hat :)
saw these guys a few years ago and the crowd was the same stunned silence... slash's hands were a blur and everyone was just fixed on watching how insanely good he is lol
The Cat in the Hat rules you’re world as well, little sister. Hahahaha! Rich, Slash made me put down a sax and pick up a guitar almost 30 years ago, believe Kel when she told you “No, that’s fast.” Haha! I love you guys. Good on you.
I freaking love this band! I was fortunate enough to even meet Myles Kennedy late last year when he was touring with his own band and solo album. Got my picture with him and everything lol! Just saw Slash & Myles live just a few weeks ago.
Damn! I love you guys reaction to this! Slash is the reason I play guitar. If you ever get the chance to see him live, you will understand why most of those people were just in awe of his ability!
Slash has 3 of his own albums, 2 of which are with Myles Kennedy & The Conspiritors. The first album has Myles singing in 2 songs as well as Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmeister, M Shadows and 9 other rock legends each with their own song. Their accoustic set is also really good doing both their own songs as well as some G'N'R
Let's just say it's super difficult to stay that pumped for over two hours haha. Went and saw SMKC early this year, Myles was feeling ill but man did he sound perfect and they played this song. By the end of the concert my throat was harse and my hands hurt from clapping but man was it worth it!
Andrew Vasquez ok, I hate you 😂😂 Seriously, though, I’d give anything to see them *ONCE* & you can’t count how many times you have seen them?! I honestly can’t imagine it. I’m sure you’ve loved each & every show... Slash & Myles are perfect together. But, then, so are Myles & Tremonti. Btw, I don’t wanna know that you’ve seen them, too😂 And stop stealing my dreams!!! 😒🤬 😂😂
I;ve seen Slash 4 times (2 with myles and 2 GnR) and Myles 5 times ( 2with Slash and 3 Alter Bridge).. First of all. most 80s musicians are past their prime time.. Slash is on his prime time right now, such a legend. He gets better every single year. Myles is just an fking icon. He kicks ass on stage. I had the honour to meet him few years back.. he is so humble.. Just love those two people and I have so much respect for them as musicians and what they do for animals and the nature
"Speaking with the Irish Times, Slash responded to suggestions that the song's intro sounds like it was inspired by Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor." "In this really interesting day and age of social networking, it started with just one person who said it was a Bach thing," he said. "I had no idea it sounded like a Bach thing, and then everybody asked me about it. I think it is just the style of the arpeggio. Still, there are worse musicians to be compared to than Bach." "I'm proud of the song," he continued, "I always liked it. It was one of the songs that came up at the tail-end of the recording when we were in pre-production."" www.songfacts.com/facts/slash/anastasia
This song is one of those "moments" for me. I was listening to the radio a while ago and somehow this song (studio version) actually GOT PLAYED (someone must have made a mistake... LOL). My jaw was slack for the whole thing. I couldn't quite figure out who it was; I'd heard Myles' voice only on one song prior to that, and was never a GnR fan, so wasn't overly familiar with Slash's style either. I had to look it up. It's been one of my favorite recent rock songs ever since, and this live version is indeed amazeballs!
I'm a huge Alter Bridge and Myles Kennedy fan and found my way to Slash through Myle's other projects. I think I had an idea of Slash in my head and just the showy guitarist with a hat but having seen more of his work with Myles and the Conspirators, I can see now how wrong I was. Slash is a real musician's musician. Just a humble, no nonsense guy who gets straight down to business. I also used to think he was just a really technical player but, he feels it all deeply and inprovises his solos so they are never played the same way twice. He has my total respect.
I don't always love what Slash, Myles and the Conspirators do but most of their songs (especially on the first album which imo is still their best) are pretty good. His first solo album (again imo) remains his best work. There's an awesome cover of this by a kid named James Bell that is just him and his fellow students in school and it's amazing.
I absolutely love this song. But then again what song does Myles write that isn't a beautiful work of art. Slash and the band give this song it's just rewards. An Amazing Masterpiece. Eargasm's for days.🤘😁 #amazeballs
One thing to remember. Miles has Alter bridge and his solo stuff he's commited to, for them to sound this tight tighter live is unbelievable 🤟🤟🤟🤟Rock on
ive been a die hard Slash fan for the last 8 years. i've seen him 4 times Live (2 times with Myles and 2 times with Guns N Roses) Ive seen Alter Bridge 3 times. And i've met Alter Bridge. Believe me. Slash and Myles are one of the best Rock musicians out there
Todd Kerns, the bassist also has a fantastic voice and actually has an upper range that's a little bit higher than Myles. The two work really well together.
"Watch this" by Slash ft. Duff McKagen and Dave Grohl is an absolute MUST for you to see! This live version doesn't feature Duff and Dave but is taken from the show they did in Stoke-On-Trent, England when Slash lived as a young child for a short time and still has family there. ua-cam.com/video/RAYKOdq4Iuo/v-deo.html
This band SMKC is fuckin amazing, the 3 albums they put out as a group just flat out rock. Slash writes amazing music and myles amazing melodies and lyrics. The rest of the band are such great musicians and the live shows they put on are amazing. You cant see too much of it and you should spend sometime after watching them rock out.... watch them do it acustic
Yes, please more Slash. Would be great if you could do some Guns N' Roses too, but I know they're very strict with copyright. Maybe some live versions? I've seen some reactions to their Tokyo 1992 concert. Or Civil War from Paris 92. There is enough "pro shot" footage out there. Don't Cry w/ Shannon Hoon, You Could Be Mine, Rocket Queen etc.
GREAT REACTION! YES! SO FUCKIN GOOD! And yes... you need to watch that whole show! It's incredible! It's incredible! Please do "Not For Me", "Halo" & "Standing in the Sun" from this same show....THANK YOU! 💯🖤🎩🎸🎤🎶🤘
I would LOVE to see you guys react to a Slash and Myles song called The Unholy. It’s a song that goes under the radar,a pretty dark song but it’s a 6 mi ute masterpiece! I know you guys will love it 😁Thanks for the amazing content you continue to provide, keep up the great work 🤘🏾
You guys should react to (No one but you) Only the good die young by Queen. It was written after Freddie Mercury's death and it would mean so much to you.
It's an awesome song, but personally the original studio version end solo is much better, this live version kind of meandered I think, the studio version end solo is a perfect length and hits the emotional note beats much better in my opinion. Not shitting on that performance at all Slash is one of the greats no matter what anyone says (and his solo stuff and his stuff in Slash's Snakepit is better than his Guns 'n' Roses work for me ) it was still awesome but maybe because I'm so used to the original it's coloured my perception. Either way definitely do more Slash - Beneath the Savage Sun. Also that hat is perfect for Slash reactions, maybe Kel will end up with a hat and helmet for each different artist haha.
That entire concert is a good review. I didn't care for GnR in the 80s-90s or Slash for that matter. He got better as he got older and teamed up with Myles and the Conspirators.
Surpised to find no content from guns n roses on your channel. I`ll just leave these requests here: - Guns N' Roses Knockin On Heaven Door Freddie Mercury Tribute 1992 - Guns N` Roses Welcome to the jungle - Guns N`Roses Paradise City wembley 1992
I saw this concert live in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. It was the first concert for my 16 year old daughter. We both absolutely loved it it was an amazing show! But the crowd reaction in a lot of cases with their songs was the same, just stunned silence until it was over! If you get a chance go see it 100% recommended! And I would recommend listening to Alterbridge live at Wembly "Watch Over You." You will love it. Its Myes Kenney's other band.
David Shryock I know if I love certain songs after I’ve barely heard them. 🤷🏻♀️ It also helps if you’re already familiar with those in the band ~ I’m assuming that Rich knows Gn’R & Slash very well & they both love Alter Bridge. It’s kinda like love at first sight except more dependable, lol. I can also know that I hate a song after barely hearing it. By the end of the song there’s a 99.999% chance I’ve changed my mind, in both cases.
Myles has one of the best rock voices in the business today!
medhead964 no
Absolutely 😊
@@TheAxzom one of the best. no best. Ok?
I say the best .who dare to be against my opinion?@@matorohy9170
Slash and Myles Kennedy have had some fantastic work together..Pure genius at work...
Nobody plays like Slash.

Best concert I have been too. They played like they were playing for 100 thousand but our crowd was only about 2 thousand. Only difference was that our crowd was crazy and we were acknowledged for it.
No words for the music, in amazement every time I hear this, Keep kissing n rock on.
Great song! Great performance! Great reaction! Check out Slash's Godfather solo from the Live In Stoke dvd.
Second
Slash and Myles Kennedy are incredible!!!! There are some many good songs!! Please check Mind Your Manners, World On Fire, Wicked Stone, Bent To Fly, etc...
And PLEASE, use that beautiful hat :)
Those last 4 mins solo gives me chills everytime i listen.
saw these guys a few years ago and the crowd was the same stunned silence... slash's hands were a blur and everyone was just fixed on watching how insanely good he is lol

This song is just too catchy - I'm going to have it stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
I freaking love this band! I was fortunate enough to even meet Myles Kennedy late last year when he was touring with his own band and solo album. Got my picture with him and everything lol! Just saw Slash & Myles live just a few weeks ago.
Crazy Slash solos !!!
Damn! I love you guys reaction to this! Slash is the reason I play guitar. If you ever get the chance to see him live, you will understand why most of those people were just in awe of his ability!
My kids who now live in China saw them on their world tour last year!!
They were totally blown away! !!!!
Best quote yet from Rich: “Now that’s a fucking jam!”
I love watching your reactions! True love is amazing to watch!
Slash has 3 of his own albums, 2 of which are with Myles Kennedy & The Conspiritors. The first album has Myles singing in 2 songs as well as Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmeister, M Shadows and 9 other rock legends each with their own song.

I requested this awhile back....awesome, thanks

the best part of Slash is that he combines speed with feeling... some just have speed, others just have feeling... Slash has both
That was fantastic... I want to view the whole concert too...

this is the proper reaction to this song :)
Im so pleased to see a reaction video on this song. Everyone seems to do slipknot 😑. Great reaction.
Speechless!!
One thing to remember. Miles has Alter bridge and his solo stuff he's commited to, for them to sound this tight tighter live is unbelievable 🤟🤟🤟🤟Rock on

I loved the groove. Great piece of music.

This song never gets old
Awesome guys...
Do more Slash please...
It's never enough...
Todd Kerns, the bassist also has a fantastic voice and actually has an upper range that's a little bit higher than Myles. The two work really well together.
Love love love the hat Kel...
How does Slash with his thick sausage fingers make such fine music?? Unbelievable what he can do with that guitar... Cheers from Ottawa

In some countries it's a show respect.
You guys need to watch the pink pop festival version! So much better and this was amazing so imagine that!
Great documentary on him on Amazon Prime!
You guys should react to (No one but you) Only the good die young by Queen. It was written after Freddie Mercury's death and it would mean so much to you.
Great song.
Love the Dream Theater shirt !
You guys should react to the one live at the Roxy 2014. It's the best version of this song!
One can only hope that guitar was 18.
He made it scream!
i hope you ended up watching the whole show!
How the hell do you remember all those guitar parts?
Check out Slash’s Godfather Theme
It's an awesome song, but personally the original studio version end solo is much better, this live version kind of meandered I think, the studio version end solo is a perfect length and hits the emotional note beats much better in my opinion. Ya just need the Mirror Aviators!!
This one also is fantastic. From Myles’ solo album. Year Of The Tiger, you won’t be disappointed I promise! ua-cam.com/video/f3L9_6aJi2Q/v-deo.html
Check out rocket queen from the same concert..... (Blown away Pt 2)
I don’t know if you know but he actually improvised the whole thing
You should react to slither-velvet revolver the other band of slash
Well the song is not easy to play for sure. Not the hardest thing but pretty hard.
Plz react to whole concert maybe upload it!! react to also world on fire!!
How the hell do you play the guitar that fast?
That entire concert is a good review. I didn't care for GnR in the 80s-90s or Slash for that matter. He got better as he got older and teamed up with Myles and the Conspirators.
He’s always been a legend
BEGGARS AND HANGERS ON....from the same show
The 20th century had Eruption, the 21st has Anastasia. Good luck choosing between which one is best.

By the end of the song there’s a 99.999% chance I’ve changed my mind, in both cases.
So no one thinks that Miles Kennedy sounds a little like Axl?
Not for Me...another great song by these two
the entire song was a guitar solo
Slash’s name is up there with Hendrix everyone knows who he is even people who know nothing about the music.
Beggars and hangars on from the same concert
Slash ghost
nah go and visit slash at stoke ...when slash goes home
