At night this would creep me tf out... have you ever been in the desert at night looking out into the dark... and then you're all lit up. Yeah a horror movie setting, but it is beautiful. I really love the pool.
It's like a base Minimalistic design pretending to be a fancy design. It doesn't work in my opinion.... If it was FULL ON good Minimalistic design with nice fancy touches, OR a really fancy & ornate design with good Minimalist touches, then, maybe then it might have made more sense. Otherwise this is Not Good. Just my opinion, though. 🤷🏿♂️
That would be a beautiful home in the middle of the British Columbia forest. That would be something I would be interested in if I had the funds for that.
Great video...I believe you can increase your viewers if you start showing the technical side of these types of homes. A lot of us are more interested in the engineering and build, so showing the solar system batteries, inverters, and controllers would have been great.
How much did the house cost to build? How did they get it out there? Was it a prefab structure that they customized or was it built like this? It’s beautiful but 18 million is out of control. I assume it’s because it has a ton of acres? We’re seeing so many net zero prefab ADU’s and prefab homes (mostly from Latvia) that have very very similair looks for 25 grand each. Putting 6 in a row would be cost efficient. Check out some of the channels like Kenny TARNOW’s channel to see the hundreds of companies that are making contemporary all glass prefab units. 18 million you can buy an island. You can buy New York City real estate. Mansions on the Gold Coast. Apartment buildings.
Look up the article “This $18 million Invisible House is the most expensive listing in Joshua Tree - and it's already a money-maker” it has all your answers
18m is absolutely insane, you could buy 5 really amazing homes for that. Plus I wouldn't feel safe out there TF you meant to if someone decides to rob you
18 million is crazy cuz it’s only 2300 a night on Airbnb so you could live in this house for like 20 years of that rent and you still wouldn’t have spent 18 million.
I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and my friend woke up on the ceiling from the pressure difference. When I opened the door and he made his way across the ceiling, the pressure difference was so bad that he flew off into the sky
So since night time you’ll have to put the lights on and if you’re expecting visitors but yet you need to have a shower or your wife has to have a shower. Where does she hide so that the visitors do not see her if they arrive while she’s in the shower? You can see you right through the building
I love design and I think this is a spectacular project - but I also hate it, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I see this as a representation of people from Hollywood: Interesting, fascinating, but also soulless, weird and platonic.
Id live there if I was guaranteed the coolest non stop ac in the summer, not being able to experience any heat and something to keep animals and bugs out, the dessert in Joshua Tree is by far not a cool one like you said, it’s hellish !
1.7 million at most. Location is most probably very inconvenient. Inside feels very boring and unfinished. No backyard with 0 exterior design. Why is the pool inside? It would only take half a braincell to know with 18 million you can buy three different homes across the country with 2x the interior and exterior space.
I wonder how many times there have been critters or snakes wander in if the doors were left open. Or take a black light out at night and look for all the scorpions running around....
It doesn’t cost 18 million to build that’s the price he has it for sale. the highest price ever achieved for a home in Joshua Tree was $3.5 million. So a sale anywhere near the Invisible House's asking price would shatter the local record
Also this house is a money maker, from an article I read - In 2021, this house generated over $1.4 million in total revenue," Adamo told CNBC, adding about 15% of that came from production.
The only thing I don’t like about that door being ground level you gotta be careful for snakes and rodents, and must leave those doors closed all the time
How long until a rock naturally falls off the hill next to it and takes out some of that glass? If it rains, gets cold enough to freeze, do that enough times is what naturally makes rocks fall. Just saying
No indoor parking for a place of this side is a major downside. Sure no sports car is driving out here but feels like an oversight. It doesn't even look like there is any places for real storage. Seems like it was built more for parties and renting rather than actual living.
Yeah you don’t understand modern design it’s not your taste and that’s okay. It’s suppose to feel surreal and minimal. This is the last location you would expect a glass box.

Stainless steel shower sounds great, and the bathtub filling from the bottom is 👌

That hall with the pool in it with the ceiling and the big windows looks like you're at an airport trying to get to gate 27A.
😂
That exactly my thought, but I like airports.
I’ve stayed there before with my wife and daughter we loved it 🙌🏼I definitely recommend it .
Amazing! Such a great experience to share

Beautiful! Max two million!!
You get over 60 acres..
18mil is. A fluuuufffffff and a half!
Foreal 18m is way overpriced
You can buy land in Joshua tree for keystone lights bruh
Yeah, the house (cool), but you're paying for the land
Interested to know the drive to the nearest grocery store!
Actually it’s super close to the Joshua tree downtown area!
This song was already turnt but here’s a bell 🔔

Invisible house sounds way cooler than a giant shipping container.
Took the idea of the Kaufmann house to whole new level
Looks awesome. I don't think i'd like when it was dark outside and i couldn't see out but everyone could see in.
This is true, it’s really more of an experience then a home
@Gavren if they reduced the price by like 17.8m I'd move in tomorrow. and throw up some curtains
@@danbuckley6584 throw me 17 mill and 8ll build the same house for a million dollars and pocket the rest

18 million seems so arbitrary like can someone explain how they reached that price 😂
Bro is 6’6 holy shit, made the house look so much bigger
Imagine waking up from a bad dream and then boom u look outside..Will definitely freak you out
It looks cool but i wouldn't want to live there forever all year around. It's a cool art piece for vacation.
You got it
Fun and games until a rattlesnake gets in
Only way I see that happening is if your dumbass leaves the door open or a hawk drops one on the roof
Type of house I’d have if I ever made that amount of cash. So dope
I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and my friend woke up on the ceiling from the pressure difference. When I opened the door and he made his way across the ceiling, the pressure difference was so bad that he flew off into the sky
Having trees completely enveloped, this house would make it almost invisible when you’re standing right next to it
The building is not 18 million, the house and the land is 18 million

The band Shinedown filmed their "Planet Zero" music video in this house!
It looks like a glass trailer
Love it, how do you go about renting before it sells. Probably cost more than my home in its entirety to spend the weekend.
Ah yes i immediately recognized this from the yeat music video filmed here! get busy!
What happens when there is a falling rock coming down from the mountain behind?
Is there a full episode
This looks like the place that shinedown filmed there planet zero music at
I’m curious how often they wake up to rattlesnakes in the living area after falling asleep with the door cracked open
I've lived in the desert for twenty five years and i've never seen a rattlesnake. City folk sure are ignorant 😅
“The bathroom sucks but that’s because look outside”
The only outdoor area is a 6ft wide strip of bare concrete, and its on the side with no view.
It’s on a fuckn property that comes with the purchase, go walk around outside the house.
Seen it on Enes Channel some Time ago. Still a beauty in the Desert ❤
Appreciate you checking it out still!
Pretty cool, I don’t love it but certainly appreciate the vision. I wonder how many birds lives this has claimed?
