I'm really impressed that the Rabbids got some character development. They can now talk, they have their own personalities, and they seem even smarter than they were in previous games they appeared in the past.😁👍

Peach and Rabbid Luigi, the way they interacted, it was almost like a big sister and little brother! Two perfect examples, when they were building a snowman or when they high-fived on the train!

Most people probably don’t like the voices for the Rabbids, but I do. After all it would make sense to give them different voices to tell ‘em apart. Plus it shows off their personalities and behaviors. To show that even if their duplicates of Mario’s friends, their personalities make them somewhat different from their original counterparts. For example Rabbid Mario is a hero yes, but his voice tells that he’s a major showboat and loves flaunting his nonexistent muscles, and Rabbid Luigi is like a kid and willing to try new things and is a lot more courageous than Luigi, plus he’s got a child like persona to him. Lastly Rabbid Peach is highly different from her counterpart as she’s a diva who cares about taking selfies and fashion, but she still kind and generous when she wants. The voices really hit the nail on their personalities too.

That last line Edge said about the rest of the hunters gives me hope for a future DLC about them after Cursa's defeat
Yeah, I was a little disappointed that they didn't get a real resolution. All those scenes of them and Edge showing they have a past and they end up not really being involved with the ending. I was hoping they'd all be friends again by the end, but the last we see of them 2 of them get smack by Cursa and the last one shrieks after you beat her boss fight.

I agree. Midnite is definitely one of my favorite Mario + Rabbids characters - Bedrock and Daphne are also really interesting - and it was kind of disappointing when we never saw what happened with them.
(And I can't be the only one who KNOWS Midnite was flirting with Edge in that one cutscene-)
I love how they made rabbid luigi a kid in the first game and how he grew up in this one

Thought technically Rabbid Luigi still sounds like a kid. But I more love how they gave the rabbids and hero’s dialogue (minus Mario of course). Even taking it a step further by giving some of these rabbids voice actors.

We just reviewed the game on our channel and - as Paper Mario fans - it’s the best Mario RPG to come out in recent years :-) I wish they treated the characters this way in the main line games!

@@masterofdimensions7928 The last world is supposed to symbolize emptiness given how the first four worlds were full of life in a way. Cursa’s stronghold symbolizes obviously darkness
@@Leavce yeah, and the Mesa (I think) represents life after everything else is taken away. After all, it may have been stripped of resources, but it still had people (or whatever you call the Rabbids) living there.

I love that they included all the detail from Mario Galaxy in the Comet Observatory. They didn't have to do that, but they did and I love it.

My favorite scene is after the reveal that Cursa was Rosalina to after leaving Mama, that scene was so touching and emotional. The best scene in the whole game in my opinion, Jeanie emotional growth peaked that scene. It kind of made me wish this game was a movie. Still hyped about the actual mario movie though.

I absolutely adore what they did for the story of this game. Though, I have to say, it’s quite weird seeing Mario be much more expressive in these games than he is in his mainline ones.

1:44:08 Did The end of that cut scene seem very abrupt to anyone else? I really like this game but the rushed ending left a bad taste in my mouth. The final boss was great but the cut scene after it feels really rushed to me. All the heroes shoot cursa, cursa dies and then……. it just ends? We don’t even see the comet observatory get put back to normal or anything. They kill Cursa and then it just instantly cuts back to peaches castle some days later. Again I really like this game but the rushed final cut scene left a bad taste in my mouth
same it had a bad taste in my mouth too not a big one but a little one guess the team couldn't think of anything to put in between it.
I think they should have had that cutscene in Rosalina's observatory rather than peaches castle.
My sentiments exactly. The ending was rather disappointing; we just skip straight back to Peach’s castle and get a few lines of dialogue-which I do like, to give credit where it’s due. There’s not even any unique music, just the Peach’s Castle background music (which I love, but unlike the post-Daphne battle scene with the Barrendale Mesa background theme, it didn’t fit the scene at all). Oh well…for the most part, I’m going to try to be happy about what the game did do, and not TOO unhappy about what it didn’t do. Because what it DID do was a lot of really cool stuff.
Remember when Beep-O was just a mix of futuristic sounds? I remember that. I liked that. I'm still trying to get used to Beep-O's new voice.

In this video there was no cutscene for her full fight.
I do like the warden Bea, but I think the best of the wardens has to be Momma, she’s smart, caring, and o’ so strong. Beep-O’s a daddy. Trees fulfill plenty of duties when alive, and in the afterlife. I feel some ships are setting sail, more specifically in terms of Sweetlopek and the Dryad, and Jeanie and Sullivan. Rosalina is an amazing mother, even when her children died before her eyes she still believed in her friends to save her, just as Mario did before when he went after his “special one”.
This is super tremendous so far!
