Peter made this song in tribute to his mother. He had a rough life, in and out of Rikers Island between Bronx and Queens, issues with his family and some of his family members not caring about him in his youth. He also made a song for his father. From the interviews Ive seen of him, he truly was a down to earth human being who actually wouldve loved to work in NYC parks keeping them clean and being with nature though he followed the rock path (though Peter did mention he preferred working in parks)
