Everyone knew that Bibi Dong was really talented and never really lacked resources or ambition, but her own inheritance trial to ascension went on for many years, during that time she was locked to level 98 and constantly looking for ways to get more 100k rings (she really wanted nothing less than perfection). After she ascended to godhood behind closed doors she straight up went for Tang Sans head, killing him in a single strike from behind. One plot armor ass pull later he was revived (btw: teh revival involved the hopes and prayers of the whole 1+ million strong army as well, faith energy is quite beneficial for suddenly reviving gods). Just to to get the Ashura Gods powers as well (ass pull No2), and even then he struggled HARD against the mother daughter pair of Gods. He only won by going after the weaker god (angel god), because Bibi Dong decided to jump into the attack to save her daughter, forcing both off them to ascent to the god realm to survive. Yes, Sea God Tang San was straight up weaker than Rakshasa God Bibi Dong, he only managed to stay in the fight thanks to the fusion with his beloved. Needless to say that the ascended Bibi Dong kept on being a big time headache for Tang San after he himself ascended to the godrealm as well. All because of his arrogance. He wasn't all perfect in the novel, the animated version simply redconned most of teh already rare moments of weakness he had out, to make him look 100% invincible and perfect.

When he fought in the war before becoming a god, he had an opportunity to kill her but again he would have to give up his life to do that. It's not arrogance that stopped him. He didn't understand the cruelty of war as deeply as he did after becoming Asura God. Tang San had to fight to gods because Raksasha interfered in the human affairs which is against the gods rules. This gave Asura the right to interfere too to correct what was done. If Raksasha did not interfere back then, this war would not have happened to begin with as Tang Chen would have become a god and Tang San would have lived a very peaceful life. If Raksasha didn't interfere, Asura would not have interfered here either. Additionally, even if Tang San had truly died here, Bibi Dong and Martial hall wouldn't have won. Have you not heard what Tang San said? Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue broke the rules and must be judged. If Tang San had truly died, the original Sea God Poseidon and the original Asura God Asura would both descend and get rid of the current Angel God and Raksasha God. It's a real pity this important information wasn't mentioned in the donghua. It was however mentioned in the novel. Had it not been for that, Tnag Sect would still be a major power because it's secret weapons, techniques and rules are still extremely good. The 1sr generation had little to nothing and created everything from scratch. You are severely underestimating the amount of benefits Yuhao and future generations received from Shrek and Tang Sect. Yuhao's eyes evolved with the help of tang sect techniques. Tang San's greatest luck was his memories of his past life. However, the Tang Sect is still his achievement as even in his past life, for 35+ years, he learnt, advanced and created without anyone's help but his own intelligence the tang sect techniques and weapons in a disappearing sect. In his second life, he thus only needed to recreate what he passed 35 years to make before into reality with the addition of creating the sect as well.

I beg to disagree with this. The existence of evil soul masters are within the natural law of the planet. It is the stabilization of the planet that evil powers has to exist. It solely depends on the power holder on how they would utilize their powers. Just like the angels, that despite the goodness and holiness of their soul power, who can think that they will do the most of evil things? Why blame Tang San for it? Can he control everything? Even if he's a god, he can't. How about blaming those older Gods for not eradicating the evil soul masters in the very first place? Can this even make sense?

never liked the fact that cultivators in this series ever reach godhood by themselves, Protagonist is meh just mary sue, i have no issues with cheats but not only did he reincarnate with cheats he also had 2 god cheats handed to him, if Tang san had reach god level by himself i would respect him and give him props but throughout the entire series and sequels not once has he shown innovation or the ability to create something of his own all he is doing is using the techniques from Tang Sect and Position he obtained from ASura/Poseidon.
