I got good feelings in this 3-person interview. I liked that all 3 were interviewed separately. I liked just seeing them again, even if it's not been that long ago. I liked that they are focused on defense and slimming the turn overs to a winning game. Mostly, I liked seeing CC be this mature, intelligent, kind, and savvy person who just happens to be one of the greats in BB.
Christie Sides always kills my energy when she comes on the screen. But you know what, Im gonna think positive. Shes gonna finally give CC the. keys, and thi team will flourish
Ok for the reason of no choice really I am going to give sides one last try. Let me say this " Sides play like you want it" Don't screw around and lead this team! We are all watching.
I think there are still many in the WNBA who want CC to fail at all costs. None of the reporters will ask.tough questions. Will Coach Sides continue to not embrace CC?? Not let her be a point guard. Unfortunately, I think we will continue to have a lot to only be angry about but to be mystified about the WNBA ( Coach Sides) not embracing the future of basketball. Things will not change unless the NBA (the money), the Fever owner, and WNBA Sponsors put pressure on Dunn the GM, who then needs to pressure Coach Sides to run a fast paced game. By the way, Caitlin did a wonderful thing in Des Moines the other day. i'm sure I won't get any coverage on the WNBA or national media, including ESPN.
A lot of folks (on several social media sites) don't like Christie Sides and want her fired. But I don't get the impression that the players are unhappy with her. Sure, she has made some coaching mistakes and she is learning just as the players are. I think Christie brings a good attitude to the team in the sense of learning, relationship building, and having fun. That should translate well into strong team play. CC made a very important comment when she said that we need to find ways to win when we are not playing our best. She is so mature and smart with a great attitude.
Her players are too classy to indicate otherwise. Sides' perpetual starting of Wallace, her bad play choices, her bad starting lineup, her perpetual missteps and lack of accountability in press conferences... Need we say more.
I’m sorry I don’t share your opinion on Christie Sides. Caitlin has more class and she’s a professional she knows how to speak with the press she’s from Iowa so am I we know how to handle things without saying anything negative. In my opinion I don’t think Christie Sides is a good coach at all. Sometimes I think Caitlin should be the coach. Lisa Bluder taught her well. She let Caitlin be Caitlin Sides isn’t doing that.
I agree... feel that the team and coach and GM all know they need to just block out all the social media comments and focus on bonding together. They are a team and proving they can grow, learn and improve fast together compared to how other new teams at the bottom of the totem pole take a couple of years... Indian Fever are bonding and improving in only half a season. Their basketball IQ is amazing...
Iowa would be a great spot but they are going to San Francisco and Toronto I think? Somewhere in Canada..lol. Iowa would have been a great spot... especially since it would be the only true Pro Team. Put it in Des Moines.
I don’t know if Sides and Clark have any actual personal issues, but it’s clear from game film there was definitely a difference of opinion on how plays and things should be done on the court. I have a feeling Linn Dunn got enough heat from fans, etc. that she had a “come to Jesus” meeting with Sides. You know the you’re the coach/adult figure it out or else meeting. I think Sides has made an effort to sit down with Clark and at least come to an understanding on those basketball differences, but time will tell.
There should be a break added every mid-season to the WNBA schedule. In my employment we get time off for "this" "that", reset & battery charge ... why not the W?
CC is the league MVP...there has never been a more deserving player in any sport. If you replaced CC with any orher player, they would not be able to match what she has done with the fever.

She's a good player but A,JA WILSON is hand's down the MVP and CC isn't close to being the MVP let's be real her Time is coming but maybe year's from now those two other all-stars been carrying her a lot of games like Boston and mich as of fact they got smith who's been doing very well and CC is the third best player on our team don't forget BOSTON was the rookie of the year last year if she doesn't have a good game we lose ..now i don't like fan's that's not for the team but are here for one player y'all are like 15 years old teens who follow a player around the whole league like LeBron James fans ,we must play as a team and stop putting pressure on CC that's why she went 0 for 7 from 3 in the all-star game and just got 4 points and u said she the MVP stop it and stop being a fangirl or a fanboyz,i been watching her since highschool and shats don't mean nothing without winning ring's and she played four years in college and didn't win one ring i hope she gets ring not just shats because she's shooting 33 percent from 3 and 36 percent from the feild and I hope she's working on her midrange shot because she got to get her own shot not just needing screen to get open am keeping it real but u not going to like what I said

It is hopeful now and maybe they will go from #7 to three or four. But it was a press interview and everyone is always careful in those.

Especially for the rookies right out of college. It’s brutal if they are in college finals and have to go straight into WNBA with almost no break.
