Curd is yoghurt. Biryani is the name of dish, the Biryani masala is a blend of spices. At home we cut chicken/Goat/Shrimp/Vegetables into small pieces and add while preparation of biryani. Whole chicken is unique, these guys did it...
Thanks for watching!! Oh yea we were surprised to see the whole chickens, the shrimp sounds like it would be tasty in the biryani. The village cooking channel always brings the creativity!! We appreciate you stopping by to let us know!! ❤
@@OurKitchen_ae They're almost similar but not the same. Yogurt is more tangy than curd. Curd is more mild in flavour. That's because preparation of both of them is different. Many people make this mistake while making Biryani because they use yogurt instead of Indian curd. Curd is better than yogurt when it comes to making Biryani because you don't want that tangy taste that comes out of yogurt in your Biryani. Sourness in biryani should mainly come from lemon juice not anything else. Lemon juice flavour really compliments the rice and chicken instead of tanginess of yogurt.

Hi guys, when we wash, we use turmeric to clean chicken and meat as it is antiseptic and will kill any bacteria or virus in the chicken and meat. Love from Bangalore India ❤
Hey!! Thanks so much for watching and letting us know. That's pretty cool, in the Dominican Republic we use Lime/lemon to clean our meat. We will try using turmeric next time ❤
It makes me sad that there are people in this world who have never tried Biriyani. 😢 You guys should get some one of these days. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
4:52 It's about your preference. Usually biryani are more rich in fat & flavour rather than spiciness. If you go to restaurants in India, they sell medium spicy & flavourful biryani, not really spicy. But if you are making this at home, you can make it spicy by adding more green chillies or Biryani masala. It depends on what kind of spicy flavour you want. If you like spiciness of black pepper then you can add biryani masala because it has black pepper powder along with other spices in that masala. If you like flavour of green or red chilli you can add that. On every 500 gm chicken, you'll require 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 6 green chillies and 1 teaspoon of garam masala. If you really want spicy like we prefer in India then you'll need 10 green chillies 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder and 2 teaspoon of biryani masala for 500 gm chicken. 😂 But it's too spicy. So be careful. 😂
4:32 Curd meand YOGHURT 😂 4:45 Biryani is NOT a seasoning 😂 Every indian dish has specific blend of different spices (masala). Biryani masala means Spice blend specially made for Biryani dish
Thank you so much for watching!! Oh that's good to know, in the Dominican republic we use cilantro or as we call it recao on a lot of our dishes. Stay tune we have more videos coming soon!
Are Briyani spicy?... There are many traditional briyanis from different states in india each having their delicious and unique taste... traditionally Hyderabadi briyani and Tamil style briyani r usually spicy, mughalai briyani is medium, kerala briyani is less spicy.. there r bengali briyani, arabic style briyani, punjabi style briyani and so on.. bt we can cook any kind of briyani according to our preference coz all styles of briyani are delicious anyways

If you like spicy Biryani add more spice if don't like spicy than less add masala and chilly powder . Try goat biryani 💓👍 we have 28 states and more than 100 culture foods
Biryani is essentially rice cooked with a blend of spices. To make variations like "chicken biryani" or "lamb biryani," different meats like chicken, lamb, beef, or fish are added. Similarly, if vegetables are added, it becomes "vegetable biryani." A simple way to understand biryani is by comparing it to pizza. Just like pizza is bread with sauce and cheese baked in an oven, adding toppings like chicken or pepperoni creates "chicken pizza" or "pepperoni pizza." In the same way, biryani changes depending on the ingredients added. This comparison might help clarify what biryani is.
One correction though there is no such thing as vegetable biryani as it's just that vegetarian couldn't enjoy this dish they took all the parts of biryani which were not protein and added vegetable to it.its like making an ice cream without using cream.😂
There are several types of Briyanis. With different types of rices and the spice tolerance changes. Let me put it this way on a spice level of 1-10 in briyanis it starts normally from 5 to some times 10.
