Wow! this brings back serious memories from back in the day and the awesome Haitian parties in my family's basement in big Mama's house in Flatbush Brooklyn. I was pretty young and was sent upstairs to bed with my grandma, so the adults can continue dancing , partying, and drinking. But I could hear the music from upstairs and wish I could go back to the party. Skah Shah! Awesome memories of my parents younger days! I listen to Skah Shah's music on my playlist, along with Tobou Combo and Gemini All Stars! What I didn't appreciate back than, I truly appreciate today, due to the fact that a lot of my family members have passed on and with all my heart, Rest in Power Zouzoul. 🙏🏽💕
