Oh my… absolutely breathtaking! Creating a stitched scroll/spool like this is on my bucket list. Your work is mind boggling. I would like to create one from vintage doily bits pieced together with this type of hand stitching. Please consider creating a class series so we can follow along with you to create one of our own💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦
I loved seeing your amazing book. Thanks for showing it in all it's wonderful detail. The colours and fabrics, beads and imaginative stitching all blend so perfectly to create something unique. Wow!
Yes Sari thread is just strips of old saris torn and stitched together - the width is between 2-4 inches wide - and changes in the hank! So useful for all sorts of stuff. I got mine from a seller on etsy.

Thanks so much - I might run a week by week stitch along later in the year - I am just trying to clear the decks a bit first
As always Sharon…..you inspire me and make me jealous at the same time…….stunning stitchery!
Oh thank you!
Extraordinary!
Thanks
I really like your use of negative space in this book. The wheel design is particularly striking.
Thanks Leonie - I figured it was a design element that matched the verse
