I could never be a nun. I considered it back in '02 and '03. I'm now happily married to the man of my dreams!

Is there an age limit for becoming a Sister. I am 68 and have wanted to live the religious life since first grade. Life got in the way, but I have never lost my wish.
    Blessings

I have a vocation, but none of the communities of sisters will take me. For one thing, they all insist that I shave my beard. Another thing is, getting up real early just never has been my thing, and I can't seem to find a community of "evening shift sisters". On a serious note, Bless you wonderful ladies. ❤❤💜💜💙💙

Thank you so much for this wonderful interview with the Sisters! They seem so joyful!
I had a quick question. Do the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia teach in a broader range, and not just designated to children in schools? I was looking on their website, and for all their convents they had, it was the area they were located, and the school they taught at. The impression I have is that they generally only teach at schools, and only occasionally outside of the classroom, but is this a correct understanding? Do they/can they on a daily bases teach adults, families, and kids not just at school?
