One of our greatest artists today. I love his opinion on the genres of art, music, literature philosophy and fine art. Some of George´s art is to scary for me, but he is so talented and honest and outspoken of his art.

He has a lot of nerve to mention his own name and works in the same sentence with those of the Masters! I've seen this sort of ego before, namely Brice Marden who did the same thing. BOTH entirely unwarranted! Both untalented artists in love with themselves.
There seem to be a misundestanding. He is not saying that he is a master or comparing himself to them. He just explains a thinking process whether you like his work or not. (plus 04:52)

Certain egotistical artists, once having received plenty of attention and concomitant wealth, get the Big Head, and actually start to think they measure up to past Masters. I don't buy any of it, nor do I see any measure of artistic ability here. I won't go into my resume', but I trust my half century knowledge and vast experience on this.
Of course "KpxUrz5745". Well, at the time we met George Condo he was humble and kind. And we are not here to judge the quality of art, just showing who an artist is.

I am simply fed up with the giant ego trips so many artists are on, and how they go around tooting their own horns and literally comparing themselves to the true proven masters throughout art history. These artists are unwilling to let their work speak for itself. They want to impress us with their false claims of excellence. I've seen plenty of this behavior from artists who should be pleased they even have a career of sorts. I don't like phonies.
