Also I feel like a good way to control speed with furnace minecarts could just be to make it so if two furnace minecarts are chained together they provide twice the accélération
I thought about that one, but honestly, in the real world, multiple engines are generally use to increase how much the train can carry, as opposed to how fast it can move it. I'm a sucker for those kind of details
Hi, not so sure I agree with your speed control ideas. They sound expensive and I'm sure would put off early players from even considering using minecarts. You would need a lot of powered rails whereas the current system only a few are required to travel a distance. As for slowing down the current pulsating power rail system can be quite effective. As for furnace minecarts, good idea but they have been removed from Bedrock some time ago. Moving on, I think that Java and Bedrock parity would be 'the best thing since sliced bread'. just think, You Tube viewers wouldn't have to worry that they will not have wasted time if they build something shown in a video it and turns out unworkable in their world because the poster didn't highlight the version of Minecraft he/she used.

i feel like they could just add the control cart function to normal carts.
True! A and D not really doing anything for carts has always been so weird to me
13:00 shouldn’t it be more of a dispenser minecart then ?
I thought about a dispenser cart, but the cauldron cart feels more flavourful as a mechanic, and piqued my interest a bit more
