I love my grandista SS3 Goku but I can see why you like this figure more as it also scales very well with your beloved Masterlise figures. I may need to keep a look out for this one thanks to your review!
2 years late to the party but I think this figure could have been better if the pose and the eyes were different. For me that's why Grandista wins for me, the pose and the look of that figure it's just more faithful overall for a SS3 Goku, looking more menacingly and intimidating. But this figure it's amazing when it comes to colours and the hair it's gorgeous!
for me personally i still love grandista version more but he so good too. Like you said it’s exclusive in Japan and very hard to get it . i wish i can get kid Boo (omg the price is crazy now )
This is a great figure but, when you put side by side with the grandista, the Grandista humbles the figure for me. Personally I prefer the Grandista more, but do want to pick up this Goku along with the Kid Buu

And super couple off years a go. But now I have everything also the specials and all movies. And i started from Dragon ball.

The debate of Grandista or Masterlise SSJ3 Goku has been going on for a while now, while I understand how some like Masterlise more, size fits better with the Kuji collection, vibrant paint job, etc... BUT ... if you take a look at the chest, you can tell how they mess up the anatomy by reusing lol. The original body is from MSP SSJ Goku, in which his head is facing left, twisting the physics of the chest in that direction, this SSJ3 has his head facing right, but the chest is still meant to face the other direction, it gives me an amateur and lazy vibe :( So I have to give the edge to Grandista this time around, still a great review tho

Hair sculpture wise i would say the masterlise is better but all n all i would choose the Grandista but the masterlise is still great imo

No symbols on his clothes because it’s based on his fight with Kid Buu. Goku had no symbols on his Gi during that entire saga. Congrats on the figure!

Definitely not the same sculpt. Master Star's legs aren't wide enough and their belt lines don't line up. They look similar though!
