  • Don’t hibernate this October half term!
Bring your friends and family together with sensational seasonal activities and discover the astonishing kingdom of Longleat. From 26th October to 3rd November, the park will be bursting with beautiful, bright and bold colours as we invite you to immerse yourself in all things autumnal.
Whatever the weather, we’ve brought the best bits of this stunning season inside. The Longhouse is having a charming seasonal makeover and will be jam-packed with wonderfully whimsical activities that will enchant the young and the young at heart.
Spend quality time with your children carving a pumpkin, delight at their faces as they become mini-tractor drivers and, get hands on with autumn-themed sand art. Best of all, get ready to meet a parliament of owls in our unmissable, daily displays. Feel the breeze as a tawny owl glides above your head, see the adorably small burrowing owl and marvel at the impressive European eagle owl. Keep your eyes peeled for the barn owl, which is native to the UK.
Once you've enjoyed all that the Longhouse has to offer, venture around the park where giant pumpkins have sprouted up just for half term - there’s a tricky challenge to solve in return for a sweet treat.
Hoping for a Halloween experience that’s a little spookier? Join us for a spine-chilling tour of Longleat House. We’ll take you through unseen cellars, eerie attics and dark corridors as we share terrifying tales of Longleat’s past. You’ll hear all about Longleat’s ghostly residents and maybe even see a few. Not for the fainthearted! Booking coming soon.
Last but by no means least, remember you can end your day out on a high with our Fantastic Fireworks; epic displays will light up Longleat on 25th & 26th October and then again on 1st & 2nd November.
