Three bangers in a row. Unleash!!!!! punkmetal - Manners, Classic bluesy hardrock - Endless Story, dreamy singalong stadium rock - NO GOD, powermetal like no one else. I cannot think of any band that mixes up styles the way Band-Maid does, probably one of the reasons I love them so much.
No band can do it all as they do. And the songs are so moving they adapt well to alternate arrangements. Remember Manners and NO GOD acoustic 2 years ago?
@@TwinTailSteve Yes I do, I had the long archive ticket and watched until late March. I also bought the CD - I have played the acoustic okyuji many many times🙂I used to watch unplugged on MTV in the 90s, what Band-Maid did was above and beyond the unplugged bands of the 90s IMHO.
The seemingly endless level of talent our Maids have is enough to make them among the greatest bands of all time. Then there is Kanami. Her songs are so consistent in how intellegent and emotive they are. But even more than that, Kanami can rearrange her songs in the most masterful styles. I guess that is why each of her songs are so dynamic. She will have more than one "arrangement" within her songs. The acoustic arrangements are brilliant, and so satisfying.
@@TwinTailSteve F.ex. Manners was composed on acoustic guitar, and many other songs were composed on the piano. Kanami then arrange the songs for Band-Maid, finally they all have their say and the final version is recorded. Kanami composes on Piano a lot, two handed arrangements. She rewrites the right hand into her guitar, and the left hand into Miku's guitar. MISA creates her bass line to fit smoothly with guitars and drums 🙂 They are true masters of creativity, Po
@@jan-ovepedersen5764 Also from what I understand Kanami will generally have a solid vision of what she needs from Akane. Then Akane has to often translate it into Gorilla... And to top it all off Saiki has to approve. Such team work alone is quite astounding. Perhaps it is natural in the Japanese culture. (did you try sending that contact information today?)
I really enjoy watching a good fan cam of our Maids. Last year I just did not want to be the guy with the phone recording too much. But I also wanted to be sure I had some memories to relive. When I saw my recording of Sayonakidori and From Now On in San Diego I could not resist sharing. I was not intending to upload at first, so I did not fixate on the video quality. Just audio. I like to enjoy the shows and move around quite a bit. But I think my quality improved over time. I notice that people that get 10 times as many views as my recordings have excellent video quality. I am truly glad that there are plenty of people participating. Thank you for the kind comments Jan!
Manners so good Live. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome! Manners is classic Band-Maid.

Thank you Jim for documenting Band-Maid on tour in the USA. Highly appreciated, greetings from Norway.

JM, thanks for the heap of Band Maid videos!
You're welcome. This band deserves to have their performances documented and shared from multiple points of view.
