Jesus also said, slaves, obey your masters. Now I'd argue that's one of the most immoral things you could be a supporter of.
And I'd also argue that sending the 'sinner' to suffer an eternity of torture isn't love. That is coercion.

You have to think about how the culture and what the original Hebrew and Greek language is translated in both the Old Testament and New Testament. Whenever Jesus is talking about "slaves" and "masters" He is referring to them as a employee and manager relationship. Not to mention the Bible COMPLETELY condemns slavery and is punishable BY DEATH. Exodus 21:16 - "And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death" Exodus 21:20"And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished". Not to mention that back then, these "employees" would sell themselves and work for 6 years and after that time is passed, the "managers" will let them go leaving the servant with money, goods, etc... Exodus 21:2 “If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.”
