    CFmoto SR series are all great bikes!! The only thing I would do on it is...some really good tires! The stock CST tires are ok, but I would suggest that move... Nothing is more important than your life, and feeling super secure in the Twisties! You will love how much lean you can get! I put
    Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4's on mine, it's just amazing!
    Enjoy!!
    Safe riding ✌️

    Word of advice... "Your chain is way too tight" ask any motorcycle mechanic! You must have the proper play in the chain or you can ruin the chain, AND the bearings of where the front small sprocket goes!!

      My first thought.. it would absolutely terrify me riding with a chain that tight 🫣. That is no bueno for the chain, rear sprocket, counter sprocket/shaft etc..

    Hi Rob, i got the same bike doing the exact same mods..only thing i haven't done is the exhaust, I'm debating between this one and the yoshi

      I actually took the KO exaughst off and put the stock back on.. It was just to loud and droning.. For long rides it was giving me a headache. Dont know how the Yoshimura sounds.. But have heard good things about its tone.

    Are those stickers you mention actual sticklers, like you can just peel them off?
    and what about the CFmoto logo on tha tank can you do the same?

    • @cvmotorob
      @cvmotorob  5 місяців тому +1

      Yep. Was super easy to take em off. On the tank its painted on and you would have to cover the logos to get rid of them or grind the tank down and repaint them.

    What did you lower your tire pressure to in order to get a wider spread for the your rear tire?

    • @cvmotorob
      @cvmotorob  4 місяці тому

      30 in the rear and 32 in the front.

      Cool. I’ll try that. Thanks for the help

      You should always run tires at 32 psi front, and 36 psi for best traction, and best tire wear.

    • @JessicaSimonson1976

      The tires provided work well in snow, ice, rain, heat. You can't wear a tire if you don't lean the bike....but you can't do that on flat tires without causing slippage on roadway. Just don't take chances.....remember TCLOCS

      @@JessicaSimonson1976 Hi I appreciate your input and I agree. When your not an advanced rider by all means follow factory specifications. However I prefer my tires set this way. The bike for me is way more responsive and grips a lot better with my riding style.

    How loud is that exhaust? Looking for one that adds a little bit but don't wanna wake the neighbors every morning.

    • @cvmotorob
      @cvmotorob  5 місяців тому

      Its definitly loud. I am looking at changing it back to stock because of it.

    was your clutch lever hella loose? im a new rider and not really sure if the clutch lever is loose or i jus suck at finding the friction zone, so going from stop to slow rolling is hella hard for me.

    • @cvmotorob
      @cvmotorob  5 місяців тому

      My friction zone is about 1/4 to 1/2 from the handlebar. If you're worried about it being too tight or loose. Just like the throttle, there is a cable adjustment you can tighten to move that friction zone closer or further away. Just be careful because if it's too tight it will not work at all.

      I would wait for the cfmoto 650 ss. Almost twice as much torque. And they are taking pre orders now. seems promising.
