I always chuckle when I speak to my kids about when I die..........my son says no way is he coming to clear this room.............my daughter on the other hand says I shall go through every little thing...........she will be grey when she is finished :):):):)
thank you for sharing your space. it looks loved and I hope you know that's a compliment. I have spent the better part of the last 8 or 9 months watching craft room tours, getting ideas etc. There are so many rooms that are beautiful but seem sterile. everything matches & I mean everything! your space looks comfortable and it works for you which is all that matters. 😄 tfs
Love your swatch books. I especially like how you put a sample of ribbons, and card stock on one tag, with the ink color. Very cool idea. Thank you so much for sharing : )
I love your craft room! I'm the same way as you, I don't have all the expensive organizing shelves and things, but it all works for me! :) I love how open your room feels, but you still have room for everything you need. TFS! ~ Megan
You have an awesome space... Thanks for the peep... I have not shown my room because I wanted it to be just right... But you are right... Love your own space.... Lol.. Tfs.
I couldn't agree more with you! Your room doesn't need to be perfect and pristine to be functional and a happy place. My furniture doesn't match, but it works for me. I'm actually in the middle of setting up my room. We just moved. It's amazing what you find LOL TFS ~ Pat
You are so sweet and cheerful!! Thanks for sharing and giving me GREAT ideas!! Also, for keeping it real in the cost factor!! I have spent way too much "organizing" and thank you for reminding me...though I shop on sale or with coupons only...I'd rather enjoy the supplies...than anything fancy smancy!! ;)
Love, love, love your space!! I really enjoy your craft room tour. Very realistic. A space you can use, fell relax and comfortable with children. I have a corner in my sons room that I utilize as a craft room area ( not fancy but I love it ). Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with all of us!!
Love your space. My space is a mix of of items that were used when I got them desks tables etc. I also use old shoe boxes for storage. I keep the cards I have finished in them. It's all organized and cozy. I would rather spend my money on supplies then fancy storage :)
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm having a craft room built onto my house. I got some good ideas from your video. I am with StampinUp and I love it. I don't sew or paint so StaminUp is good for me. I do have a Cricut which I haven't' mastered the use of yet. Thanks to your daughter for helping.... Love the cat too. I have 2 tuxedos. Thanks Again.... Take Care...... Pat, Florida
Great Craftie room! Mine is my dining room table that gets cleared off everytime we have to eat. Therefore, it takes me forever to do a project. Thanks for sharing your room with us...Hugs!
Try starting by listing categories of what you have. Like: tools, adhesives, embossing, embellishments, etc., then choose containers, shelving, etc., I recommend looking toward what you already have and then depending on your budget you can add what you don't have over time. Even if it is just old shoe boxes that you have labeled...a little structure in your craft room gets you in there. Good luck and thanks for watching. :)
what a cute daughter with a beautiful smile. Your dog is adorable. I have 3 myself. Anyway. you have a great craft room, I"m working on mine though my room isn't very big. But I love it! Have a Blessed day with a smile :) Julie g
I talk fast when I'm on camera, too. I usually end up redoing them over and over because I hate that I sound overly excited to share but your excitement is contagious so maybe it's not so bad after all. ;)
TFS!!! Love your cheerfulness and the giggles too :) loved seeing your craft room... It looks real and practical. I agree with you totally about not spending too much on the organization racks and stuff but getting the max bang for your buck with the craft supplies instead. I am like that too.. I noticed on the carousel that has stamps on it (soon after you start the tour) that there is one large sheet with may individual photopolymer words stamps... Could you please let me know whose it by? Thanks!!!
I loved seeing your well-loved craft room and your darling daughter. I was wondering. What is the container that stores your Spectrum Noirs and where did you get it? It’s on your desk. Thanks for sharing.
i agree that a work space doesnt have to be perfect, in fact mine isnt really a whole room, its just a small alcove in my bedroom. but i like it, its a nice place to draw and enjoy myself :)
New subscriber here. I actually foubd you looking for info on how to ise alcohol markers I received. I'm pretty much on a tight budget and getting them was awesome. I suffer from a rare disease which is autoimmune and I have been on immunosuppressive deugs and chemotherapy drugs for three years. Being weaker now I can't partake in as much as I used to so I have had to find other fun and I am fiding crafts are neat. I would love to try stamping and card making but right now can't afford much. Can you reccomnive starter packs for new card makers/stanpers? I love your room. It made me happy :-)
Sorry for my late reply. A great way to jump right in would be to consider monthly kits. You often get the majority of what you would need to make a few projects. For example Simon Says Stamp has monthly kit. :)
trying to reply but comp keeps jumping from this box.......many thanks for responding to my comment...........i do extreme mixed media, so dozens and dozens of completely diff things, plus do dozens of types of crafts, but true, I think I shall have to do the list thing again...............thanks for the inspiration. barb
My response to Madeline N. (Your comment section seems to be disabled). =) Well from me of course! =) •The easiest way to order is to click on my Stampin’ Up link: www.cathijudd21.stampinup.net . For basic supplies I would go to JoAnn’s, Micheal’s, Hobby Lobby…. Stores that offer 40% off coupons is a great way to get started with the Basics. And then some of my favorite online stores are: twoberrycreative, lawn fawn, my favorite things, simon says stamp, …so many favs. I hope this gets you started. Madeline Needham: Fantastic arts and crafts room I was wandering what shops you would recommend getting things for my crafts room
Hi again thanks for the stores you recommended I don't know why you can't message me like normally I just wandered I would have said amazon.com, Joann's and micheals for my pick of stores.
thanks so much for responding to my comment, I shall try the list thing again, but doing serious mixed media I have so many random things, suppose need to put similar things together or I would need hundreds of boxes.....I tried to bribe my daughter to help, but she just said no way ..........always a joke with them,
I really like your craft room. Its well organized and thoughtfully laid out and it seems like you and your family get a lot of use out of it. I sent you a youtube message too, so check that out and get back to me when you get a second.
Yup! She is a funny one. She doesn't just "meow" she walks around making noises that sound like she has something to say or has a question...I don't quite know how to explain it...other than it sound like she is talking. =D
