Bob's burgers isn't anything like the Simpsons or family guy or anything else it's a completely unique show there is nothing like it anywhere else it's a great and hysterically funny show I tune in every Sunday night and view it I freaking love it.

And second, I don’t think Bob’s Burgers is a rip off of The Simpsons, it’s not really a satirical or something where you know it’s a cartoon, it’s closer to an animated sitcom type thing, in my opinion and they focus on having a normal family dynamic, unlike the Simpsons or Family Guy, where the dads are alcoholics who are sometimes abusive.

Simpsons seasons 3-10 is amazing though. Nothing can compete with that Simpsons. Bobby's burgers is different, not better or worse. Just like home movies (with Jon Benjamin) is also a great show that's different than Bob's burgers and Simpsons. I'm not a huge family guy fan. Anyway.
You should try Archer. It might be weird for you seeing Bob's voice in a different character but we'll worth pushing past the first few episodes (I went from Archer to Bob's Burgers and was weirded out a bit). Honestly I prefer Archer, it's one of my top all time favourite tv shows (first is Arrested Development)

If it's a rip off of anything I'd say it is King of The Hill. At least that's what it reminds me of. Family Guy relies solely on cut scenes/flashbacks for laughs or Stewie centric episodes. I got tired of that about 6 seasons into that show. Simpsons was pretty much Family Guy in the 80s and 90s. It was just as "extreme" and "edgy" in its humor. I haven't watched the Simpsons in probably over a decade now but I imagine it is pretty tame by today's downward spiral standards. So I guess if I had to pick between the two Bob's Burgers is more like The Simpsons. Family Guy is pretty much just mini shock comedic moments throughout the episode. The actual episodes are pretty shitty..... kind of like Will Ferrell movies. But they provide like 2-3 good belly laugh moments and a ton of quotable dialogue. That's it. There is no substance to Family Guy. Bob's Burgers has an actual sitcom feel to it much like King of The Hill. Which is why I compare it to that show. I wouldn't say it is a copycat though. BB and King of the Hill felt like they actually had a purpose and dealt with normal seemingly everyday problems. Family Guy would have some crazy storyline and surround that story by shock comedy one liners. After an episode of Family Guy you'd sit there and think "that was funny" and then quickly forget the episode because it has no meat. Sure you might remember the 1-2 funny one liners in an episode (if it had any), usually something Peter or Stewie said...... mainly Stewie, but as for the episode itself and what actually happened in it...... not so much. Family Guy is like the variety show of cartoon shows. It exists solely for laughs. And because it sucks at writing situational comedy it writes as shocking of comedy as it can. Bob's Burgers just reminds me of good TV from my childhood. I mean the raunchiest thing they rely on for laughs on Bob's Burgers are fart jokes...... how much more innocent can you get. Maybe I'm just getting old.
I started to watch bobs burguwr by the end of 2020 and felt in love with rhw series. One thing that I think stands above FG, Simpsons or AD is how clean the series is. You can give a lot of laught without violence, blood or explicit sex scenes.
