This is amazing! If I ever become rich, I want to spend a lot of money on restoring these arcade machines, and making new editions of them, to preserve the feel for kids born AFTER the 1980s/1990s, so they can experience it!
I think a lesson learned from this couple is you don't need to be rich. They get a lot of their vintage gear for free or a token amount or greatly discounted due to damage, non working, salvage, or fellow enthusiasts who want to rehome their cabs. You just need the passion, space, time to do the research, get the tools over time, diligence scanning 4 sale sites and enthusiast boards like the klovs of the world. Learn repair as you go
Fantastic game room tour guys. I absolutely loved your choice of 80s & 90s games. It’s a shame you can’t show the art work as some of the games like centipede are just so iconic and beautiful. But I’ve got the same problem in my own arcade as well, it’s hard to sacrifice the space for art over a good game. I love Dungeons & dragons as well and having Gauntlet 2 and dark seal are two great choices to have. Loved your presentation, stories and passion, keep the videos coming 😎👍
Thank you! Yes, Sam is devastated that we can't effectively display the sideart of some of our games, centipede in particular (ours is pink!!). Also tempest, asteroids deluxe.... Liam argues that lining them all up increases the floorspace available for more classic arcade games... Gauntlet and Dark seal were actually next to each other in our old arcade layout, but we figured the 90s games would be better together. Thank you for your kind words!
I really like your new place. Congratulations. Badass video it was a great watch. That was the first time I liked someone’s workshop until today. Nice and neat. God bless you guys. Looking forward for the next video and to see your new room
Thank you! It's a work in progress to be sure. Lots to come. Can't wait for the permanent workshop to be finished. Bigger than the whole arcade as it is now, and we've got all kinds of equipment waiting to be installed in there. Smart boards, panel lights, more benches! It's going to be such fun. Sam wants a CNC.
what a great collection of cabs. i don't know how many generations more will enjoy arcade cabs because of how much gaming has changed but this is so nice to see.
One day down the line we are definitely hoping our future kids will enjoy these cabinets as much as we have, and hopefully take them on after we're gone.
Just wait, that lab is going to easily quadruple in size soon, we have an entire dedicated outbuilding for it we just need to refinish. Finally, all the space for ALL the projects!
Disney Quest Asteroids siblings!!! I have an Asteroids Deluxe that's from Disney World as well. Pretty sure it was from Disney Quest but if not it's from one of the resorts arcades. I also have a Crazy Taxi that's definitely from Disney Quest and includes stickers with the DQ logo and Iago asking you to limit your play time, since everything was on freeplay. What a small world! Love your home setup.
Yeah! Ours has got the limit play time stickers also. Lots of Disney stickers all over, and an inventory sticker on the back showing it was last tracked in 2004ish? Pretty cool.
@@retrobotics that's awesome! I love learning the history of cab lives. I picked mine up at an employee auction after DisneyQuest closed, while I still worked in the parks. The listing said it didn't work but I think they may have just not let the tube warm up when they tested it because everything has been running fine!
Hey guys, I'm honored to have picked up the only game you've sold. The Asteroids Deluxe cocktail is in a good home and getting lots of play. Congrats on the new home and arcade space -I look forward to seeing more content. For those who haven't met them, these guys are the real deal, an awesome couple who exemplify the best in our hobby! v/r VelvetJ
I can't imagine how tired you are, I moved my 23 or so machines 100 yards to a different part of my warehouse and that was tiring enough alone with a dolly but no lifting in my case.
Mk2 CPU are notorious for button reading you need to exploit them to be consistent at the game at all in single player. As someone who is big into the fgc and understands fighting games no one is "just good at fighting games" it takes some any dedication, but after you understand one it's much easier to pick up more and learn fast

You had me at Tron and Joust. Two personal favorites. Dope collection and fantastic restorations.
Thank you!

Great walk-thru! Awesome collection of games you two have!! Thank you for showing!
Thanks! It keeps finding a way to grow. We're about to do a big rearrangement, using the workshop room as the vector zone...
I'm a little late seeing this, but congratulations on your wedding. I love the arcade, and I love the shop. Great video guys
Thanks so much!!
The arcade in Downtown Disney was my favorite part of Disney World, it is a shame they got rid of it.
I Love this channel. You two are the best. 😎 👍🏻
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying it!
Nice mix of new and old arcades, excellent!
Thanks!
Awesome setup you have! Great collection!
Thanks!
Your arcade is so awesome. Great space and room tonexpand which is even better
Thanks, we should have a 3.0 tour up soon and it getting pretty packed now 😅
I'm soooo jealous! Great LAB, great Arcade... You're all set!
Just wait, that lab is going to easily quadruple in size soon, we have an entire dedicated outbuilding for it we just need to refinish. Finally, all the space for ALL the projects!
Sick collection. Love Tron. Jealous of the Aliens and dedicated Gate of Doom!
You've got a crazy collection yourself! Thank you again for that Smash TV Marquee! Hoping we can get that machine going soon.

Nice new house. Congratulations 🎉 🏠
Thank you!
Gauntlet is totally rad and it's from the 80s.
You’re welcome! You’ve got an awesome collection and such a great house too!
Thanks again! It was so fun having you over, and we're glad you liked the house!

Hey man, great to hear from you! Glad that the Asteroids Deluxe is being enjoyed and it's in a good home! Thank you so much for your kind words.
Cool channel. Can’t wait to see more. Congratulations on your new home.
Congratulations on the house. Amazing collection there. Appreciate your passion.
Thank you!
Wow! Very nice!
Thanks!
NICE CHANNEL LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MORE OF YOUR VIDIEOS
Looks great!
I can't imagine how tired you are, I moved my 23 or so machines 100 yards to a different part of my warehouse and that was tiring enough alone with a dolly but no lifting in my case.
Can't tell you how much we wished we had a lift gate truck. That would have made this a million times easier.

Wow!!!! Can we see your place come alive when you turn it on? Plus, do you work on boards on the side?
That's a great idea.. can't believe we didn't do that. We'll have to do it in the next tour!
You guys are the real deal 😊
But you look way too young to be nostalgic for those 70s, 80s classics Space invaders, tron, robotron, etc 😅
Thanks! Haha yeah unfortunately we did not get to experience arcades in the glory days but we are happy we can try to recreate it in our home 😊
When you finished the first part of the 1980s games, I was worried because Firefox did not show up.
Haha, Firefox will never leave this place. It actually was working better after the move if you'll believe it. Such an interesting game.

2 Ghouls n Ghosts
3 Trojan

Ghouls n Ghosts and Willow are pretty fun games! Definitely wouldn't say no to a willow if it appeared for us, but not a particularly common game!
@@retrobotics i had a chance to get Willow but the price was so high now i regret that i passed it up
