Impressive stuff. The CD drive was a real game changer when they became a think. The sheer volume of stuff they put on all the magizine cover CDs were pretty great for starters
The best way to test a FPU for overclocking is to use AIBB beach ball test. FPU's can appear to be working but crash in strange ways that make you think the problem is something else. Run the beach ball test and watch the ball being drawn, if the clock is too fast, the ball will only partially be drawn and the software will return to the result screen with crazily high results.
The thing I want to know Rob, is the sound effect for indicating components on the accelerator card the lemmings explode pop!!! 🤣 What is that AMIGA globe in the background above the disk drive? Cool!
Haha no it’s not the lemmings pop sound, well I don’t think it’s, but does sound the same I agree! The Amiga globe is my own design and you can build one by following this video: Build The Amazing Levitating #Amiga #BoingBall! ua-cam.com/video/yzLTEEfZ7o8/v-deo.html
@RobSmithDev I got my card, it's the same as yours. I bought a Math-Co for it but didn't realize while I as going back and forth with the guy who builds them about the buying a Math-Co that was labeled 40Mhz that he went bought/installed one tested at 50Mhz and maybe 60Mhz since he says in his main posts that he does test the boards at 60Mhz before they go out. Mine came with the M.2 drive with 3.2.x installed on it. I really want to get a zz9000 next to complete the Amiga 2000. :)
I really enjoy your videos and energy Rob; Keep it up. Thanks for sharing the details of this neat card.
Thank you - it’s nice to get great feedback!
Thank you Rob brings life back to the Amiga 2000. I will have to save my money. Cheers
man i want that boingball
great job as always!
Thank you - I’m sure you could build one! (plans etc are in one of my videos)
@@RobSmithDev haha im a hardware guy, i will fail
Well explained, thank you!
Impressive stuff.

Indeed! I remember though loading the CD on my PC and transferring the files across on floppy disks…. Not quite as fun!
I am german and the explanation at the beginning is too good! :-D

Yes the zz9000 is on my list too!
D-I-K-UH not D-I-K-EE...I'm guessing Fat Olga is Fat Agnus's sister 🙂
Unfortunately I was never given the chancel to learn German. thanks for the correction
