Yeah, looking back this was a beyond trashier version of Nothing to Lose -- which was a way better film (Thank Bob Oedenkirk for writing and directing, lol) Anyway, I would go with Black Knight, but I see this film as well in the depths of Martin's career. I think the 2000's for the most part was bad for him and Eddie Murphy at least until Dreamgirls.

I disagree bro national security is mean spirited but all for the sake of the joke the irony of the one white cop that actually innocent get paired involuntarily with the man who put him jail and he’s blac. There are moments where they bond even when Hank opens up to him and Martin see that they are similar. Martin not apologizing is a part of his character think Stifler from American Pie, Martin character was meant to be an ahole. Their are worst Martin movies but this one wasn’t it. Just my opinion, on a side note I heard your reaction to Norbit do you like that movie or nah? I fool with Norbit but it’s not for everyone

What I hate most about this movie is how Earl acts so prejudiced towards all the white people including Hank just because they get annoyed with him being a reckless asshole, and whenever a white person tells him not to do something Earl always plays the Black Card and goes “Oh if I was a white man you would be ok with me” like that’s equally as racist. All the other characters did Hank so Dirty, I will always hate this movie for its Racism towards white people.
To me I can go back and watch Black Knight a little bit better rebound was alright I hate it Big Momma House 3 my favorite Martin Lawrence films are Bad Boys 1 and 2 nothing to lose Blue Street and I like the one with him and Danny DeVito
