I no longer buy from Oden's eye after how badly they handled the Christmas palette ordeal, but I always love to see a video from you Amy. Your look is stunning and congrats to the creators on their collabs!
What happened with the Christmas palettes
@@veronicahayes2635 When they originally announced them, they explained they would be limited edition with one restock. The first launch sold out very quickly, but they never did a restock as they originally said. They never addressed it though tons of people were commenting asking about it for months. They turned off commenting on their insta stories and continued to post content promoting the Christmas palettes knowing they weren't coming back and many people took that as an insult. I find that to be pretty disrespectful to their customer base and the lack of transparency makes me not want to be a customer anymore.
Yeah, that really didn't sit well with me either. It was a mess.. and they would be raking in the money if they continued to sell the Xmas palettes. I missed out on them too and regret not buying them when I had the chance 🙄
I bought ut mine yesterday so excited can't wait for them to show up

I am a ginger too and don't love bronze shadows. I used to I think. Now I prefer more colorful or special shimmers. Having blue eyes a bronze does make the blue look pretty but idk I'm bored with brown, bronze, gold things.

I'm tempted but probably will sit out from buying....I've had it with Odens Eye tbh. They keep releasing new products and they're always limited edition which bothers the crap out of me since I hate having to buy at the time of launch or miss out forever. Then they showcase the products all while still being sold out...its like here's the brand new item(s) you missed out on and will never get the chance to get again. Yeah I'm still salty about missing out on the Xmas palettes and they never said a word about it either.
I picked up the Flora palette as my first ever order from
Oden's eye. I loved the shimmers but the mattes left something to be desired. Anyone else having issues with the mattes blending away or coming up patchy? Maybe it's the base underneath i'm using.
I’ve had no issues with blending. Are you using a sticky base? I use one that dries down.
@@AmyLovesMakeup I used a paint pot like product that dries down. I'm gonna try again tomorrow and see if I have better luck. Thank you for the advice!
I would have liked a warm pallet, a cool pallet and something else. I'm an autumn and these pallets have only half of the colors that look good on me. The other half are too cool toned for me.
Sometimes I've bent things that should not have been bent. That's what she said 🤣😂
I just don't see anything cohesive about these palettes 😭 so it's a no for me this time. Especially Batty Bean's palette. It's all over the place 😐
I am happy for the creators but wish they had done at least one who wasn’t a pale skin tone. Last time at least they had a more diverse group. It says something about the brand

I agree with you. If they do more collabs in the future and they continue to only collaborate with a single type of creator then that will be extremely frustrating.
The only thing i would have suggested is that they had offered a collab with someone other than battybean just because she's done two others already... but i guess they like working with her.
You have so much lid space you should put the crease color up higher and use the space. You look beautiful in those colors
