In this video, you can see Chapter 5 Fortnite Tournament gameplay, on mobile (android), on a 90-120 FPS device. Hoping to see all types of Mobile players here, whether it be through cloud gaming (Xbox Cloud, GeForce Now, Amazon Luna) or native app users (Redmagic, Samsung, Oneplus, Xiaomi, BlackShark, Oppo, ROG). Also want to see pc players (laptop included!) with the best mechanics, aim, and fastest edits, maybe even some PS4/PS5/Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players. Hopefully iOS makes a return soon.

I think that yes, mobile can compete. We just need more optimization, the game can have less delay.
I dare to say that back in the day, ipad pro players at 120fps could be better than most PC players. I can confirm this statement because wasd movement is indeed harder to master and more limited. That's why some players, including Martoz, changed to keyboard joystick..
Imagine something like iPad Pro 240Hz 240FPS vs a PC at 240Hz 240FPS. I'd think they'd be nearly at the same level.
That's what I think.
Now If we talk about actual fortnite mobile android, I think we can still compete, but it all depends on how smart our gameplay is, and what type of tactics we have. of course I think it would be nearly impossible to fight someone like asianjeff with the current state of mobile, but we'll never know.

That's why I think Epic Games deliberately introduced 'another payment option'.
They certainly knew the consequences.
They saw that the mobile players reached a scary level. It was Epic Games' easy way to lock out mobile and prevent mobile players from potentially humiliating their beloved PC and console players like their world champion.
I know it's just a theory, but I've had this feeling from the beginning. That feeling grew after communication with the mobile community stopped. Optimization, bug fixes, etc. were all very slow and still are to this day.

Man this video reminded me of them 2020-2021 Nintendo x mobiles community’s. I was so good on 30 fps going off 5-10th place in them mobiles cups on a Nintendo. Just brought a ps5 recently and yeah the community died off starting off 2022. Great video man keep it up!

Answer was always yes, Back then mobile players like Wilson, Larroy, Unreal, Adam and most the Eu players like fledermeusly, Balle, Noob, Slayzz and Jenks were so good they were dominating console lobbies and winning fncs. I have a lot of difficulty playing ranked, PC players are very good, I play at an unstable 30 fps
30fps is so bad bro, I have tried 60fps and 120, the latency on 30fps feel like if the game was running at 10...
You should optimize it to get 60fps, I have rooted and optimized my snapdragon 732g, I tested it on the past season and I had like 50-60fps and literally stable 120 when I was inside a box.

The biggest disadvantage is performance as you have to lower the resolution in order to get better fps

So here’s my insight as a Fortnite player that has a 240hz monitor .5ms stable 240 cause of 3080ti and a i9 108500k
Get a mobile device that can perform better I believe your already good I actually don’t think skill is an issue. Or that you have issues. However better games will have more builds I’d buy a device if you can afford it that will perform better I advise the ROG GAMING PHONE only for the security of your device not dying, not having the best WiFi, HZ or frames. They also have great latency. I think you are competing at a pro level and your think like a pro. Keep grinding.

Is this just in competitive that the fps is that unstable or just in general? Pretty disappointing performance for the Tab S9 if that's the case. My S23 Ultra runs it mostly stable, so it should run the same on here too..? (same processor)
fps has been more unstable since my update to android 14 + Christmas update, hoping those are the reasons why.. S9 ran very well in og season and prior, hopefully can somehow regain that performance

if we talk at a professional level in my opinion the only way in which it could be is with back pedals (something like an Asus Rog phone 7 Ultimate) and with the point-and-shoot triggers that gamer-style phones like, for me it's impossible for a player to be able to use touch controls can compete with controller or keyboard controls, with better optimization and with those extra gadgets possibly a mobile gamer can become a pro.
with the redmagic 9 pro would definitely be interesting to see
for fortnite I strongly recommend RedMagic over Asus Rog Phone.
Rog Phone has issues with the touchscreen deadzone unless it has been fixed in the recent models. Also another thing to point out is that Redmagic literally has fans in their phones.. so you can expect temperatures to be great and the processor being really stable with the performance. As much as I know, they sometimes have an overclocked or exclusive snapdragon chipset, just like the S23 (don't know if Tab S9) had an exclusive Snapdragon 8 gen 2 for increased performance, basically an OC version.
Redmagic and rog phone prices are really similar. I remember finding the lastest redmagic 8 (when it was) at about 800USD. I think the latest rog phone is more expensive. Asus is a great brand but I just have to say, redmagic is just an expert brand when it comes to mobile. I heard a japanese player said the redmagic 8 had a little of touch latency when compared to other phones (specially IQOO), but it's okay.
IQOO is a brand japanese players are literally simping right now. It's literally the best high quality android phone brand (Yes, ignoring samsung) but I didn't know they were that good for gaming. As always I have never owned an IQOO, but at least they always talk about how good their touch responsiveness is.
Overall, I believe the best way to play FNM right now is either getting the Tab S9, despite the touchscreen issue, or a Redmagic phone.

I personally think Fortnite Mobile users could compete with PC and Console players if we would have less touch delay on the game, the optimization could need some work as Chapter 5 is pretty demanding from what i've seen. If we could have the same touch delay as iOS had back in the day, we could definitely compete and be as strong as PC and console, or perhaps more. Personally when i switched back to mobile ever since i have gotten a Samsung Tab S9, i found it very challenging to get used to the touch delay.

90 fps is probably peak you can have, 120 fps jonfnm video (allegedly) may help, no background processes also helped along with turning off game optimizing services

@@Percep In chapter 1 the game was butter smooth. Since then every update made it more unplayable. My phone went from being able to play the game on 100% res 60FPS locked to not even being able to launch the game anymore.
