Since the phone has one port, it would have been great if the mag mount also charged the device or the cage had a built in hub with at least a couple usb c ports and a headphone jack. It makes the device a little bit of a gimmick since a lot of mounts already exist and do the same thing like SmallRig for half the price.

I think this would be easy to accomplish with the right USB-C splitter and a power bank. There are so many mounting options that you can probably attache both. That said, at this point you are getting to a different weight-size point that may not be as portable.
