SJ4000 has a blue cast which can be fixed in post-production. Also, it only shoots up to 1080p/30. Eken has a more restricted dynamic range, meaning less information in the highlights & shadows, and it's clearly over-sharpened with halos around areas of high contrast (tree lines etc.). All of which can't be fixed in post.
Just bought one of the Eken's for $44 shipped from GearBest. I'm still shocked that we've now hit the point in camera tech that you can get this amazing picture for under $50....delivered straight to your door from China! Maybe I'm showing my age here, but it used to be a 1080p camcorder would set you back $2,000, and require the use of tapes. Oh, and if you wanted to take it under water that meant another $300-500 just for a decent enclosure!

i dont understand the comments about the SJ4000 image being better. teh picture is overly blue and there is a loss in detail that is clear in ever scenario shown. The finer water ripples are missing and the tinier stones/shell in the sand disappear. In the trees, the foliage detail is more blended. The Eken wins this comparison.
Eken has harder contrast and light is too high , so then lost of details, not suitable on sunny views, here S j seems better for me but in cloudy days Eken could be winner.
Is this camera has a limitation in video recording? or can be recorded continuously for example 50 minutes. Because my camera at home have a limit on the 5, 10, and 25 min. (I have to choose in the menu) and then stops the video and starts with a new one. I dont like this. Thank you

Sj4000 and the H9 both have the same image sensor. The only difference is the processors. I guess Eken really changed the game. They're also selling real 4K cameras around $80.

I Have used Eken before 1. Eken is Overexposed 2. Harder to Edit in Post 3. It loses on Clarity and Details 4. The Higher Resolutions 2k,4k are just waste and not Usable. So, Im Going for the Sj4000.

Eken H9 is shaking a lot and its poor quality hided by a more software sharpening algorythm only. Only WB is better but everybody knows SJCAM SJ4000's weeak point
