This series is basically "what if Overlord had a shounen protagonist instead of Ainz?" Obviously, there's more unique stuff to it than just that, but in terms of baseline premise.
This anime in my opinion and point of view is a combination of the animes sword art and the land of leandale and if you guys already watched leandale, you will know why I said that it made me feel that this anime is also like leandale.
I think it’s kinda terrifying to think about, imagine you wake up and probably around 25% or more of the worlds population just disappears just like that
Only issue I have qith this episode is that sword shouldve hit that palace harder. Like if it had enough energy to fly many a mile it ahouldve crashed through several floors like a missile dropped by some bomber plane but pergapsit went through some barrier surrounding the capital that nerfed its speed by 95%

still a bit sad with some of the redesign i like the manga design for many of the character a lot the anime made many character look shorter and younger specially the mc he gone from mid 20 to a teen
For some reason they made shin and the characters younger then in the manga by like 10 years or so, shin is mid 20 to 30 in the manga and a Lil but taller . Think they went with a younger look to attract younger audiences but this story is tbh mid same isikai story we seen alot game characters stuck before
i just wanna say it couse i find it interesting to see peoples impression on mc but spoiler alert!!! mc is considerd as one of the most scary player in the new gate that pk player is scared shitless when they see him and he even once killed one of his freind and by the way mc is considerd as the best blacksmith in new gate only read manga thou
