My wife and I are eating at Boma as I write this. Thanks to this video, we're here and we're sitting right beside the table you guys sat at (the one in the rounded corner closer to the meat station - something my wife was very excited about - we're both big fans). I'd say your review of each item is entirely on point.

I went last year with my Disney girlfriend, and we try to eat at every good restaurants, while our husbands go to the races, and YES this was the best we’ve been to, and she’s a picky eater. Amazing! It’s a go back
My favorite restaurant in all of Disney World!! Great food, service, and atmosphere! Been my number one for over 10 years. Dining offerings and atmosphere are why AKL Jambo House is always my first choice resort too!

We have dined at Boma's Breakfast Buffet 3 times, twice during our last staycation at AKL in December!! Absolutely delicious, excellent service and a great value for the price!! As an aside, I am also not a fan of Zebra Domes!! Thanks again for another awesome dining review!!

This vlog was awesome!! My best friend I travel from California to Florida for our birthday month in October and always make Boma a must do. When you go for your birthday they make you an awesome dessert plate that sometimes has your name or a birthday message hand written with icing and small delectable goodies. This place along with Nomad Lounge and Tiffins are some of our favorites. Unique and tasty food, stellar service (many of the staff there were African pre-Covid) and a warm inviting African village atmosphere make this one of the best Disney property experiences. Your B roll with that catchy music got me so excited; I could not click on this review fast enough! Thanks as always.

Lol, “makes sense” is a bit subjective. Don’t have a list right now. Perhaps when all is said and done
Great review and I plan on eating there on my September trip this year. What time of day did you visit there and have you ever eaten their breakfast? I always thought I'd go at breakfast time until I saw this review.
This was early dinner, but yes - breakfast there is fantastic as well
Boma is our favorite Buffett! We just returned and definitely enjoyed BOMA! We did have tusker house, but due to your review, we did cancel, and we end up doing ARtist Point! (loved). Our family has 3 teenagers, and one is special needs, and we all LOVED IT! We been here a few times, and we loved it each time! Unpopular opinion, I do not like zebra domes.
Lol, I’ve never liked the zebra domes! I did like them better this time, but not enough to get more than one 🤷♂️
We always stay a few nights (we move around) at Kidani because we enjoy the atmosphere there. BUT, we always visit Jambo House because of Boma. So good! Thanks for sharing your experience. Now, I really want to eat there, but I'm over 2,000 miles away. 🤤😂

Our ADR window is opening up soon and now I’ve added Boma to the possible list! What do you think about Boma vs Sanaa? Two boys here too but 7 and 9. Also have y’all ever reviewed hoop dee doo? Wondering if it’s worth the commitment price and time wise!
We’ve got Hoop Dee Doo coming up in a few weeks 🤗. Hmm, Boma if you’re really hungry and want an amazing variety. Sanaa if you’re wanting to save a little money and order a La carte. But if you go to Sanaa, you have to get the bread service.

Boma is my absolute favorite restaurant on property. We’ve only ever had breakfast. We will have to try dinner next time.

I answered this too fast, lol. I originally read this as anniversary dinner. I would say Jiko if it’s a date night situation but Boma if it’s a group. Happy Bday!!!
Dan and Leslie I made it happen. My job going 100% work from home. Got my apartment locked down. Moving to Celebration area. My dream has come true. I have been trying to move to the magic since 2012 and am finally able to do it. Next mission is to buy a house in 2-3 years. I move Feb 6th. I am so happy right now!! Hopefully one of these days I will run into you guys and say hi!

Wow I might have to skip Sanna bread service for this buffet and I usually avoid buffets. So much good food…so little vacation time.

Boma is a great Disney restaurant, not for the amazing food, but because it is the best buffet. Over the last 15 years I have gone there, the quality has never wavered. The food at Boma is interesting. This is not a bad thing! I can have bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast almost anywhere. Boma offers you a chance to try new things. I will suggest not hitting Boma Breakfast hard on a park day. Boma is best enjoyed on a break/resort day. It is not cheap, but well worth the trip. If you are worried about the food being too strange, remember it's Disney. They try real hard to offer something for almost everyone. I agree with Dan. Boma Bread Pudding over those Zebra Domes all day, every day.

We're DVC members at Beach Club and AK Lodge is our go to when BC is not available. We've eaten at Boma several times, best buffet on property. I actually prefer the breakfast/brunch buffet a little more. Food is excellent, and a little more price friendly.
We also love breakfast there. It’s a great option!

They had Mac and cheese, pasta with red sauce, and chicken nuggets on the buffet in addition to all of the more adventurous options

If you are at Animal Kingdom for the day, then take a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner, then take the bus back to the park, is that do-able???
Sure, just double check park hours with your reservation time. DAK closes earlier than other parks

It was a curry Mayo pasta salad. It wasn’t terrible, but there were so many other things that I loved that eating it didn’t make sense

Boma does have an actual theme besides just Africa. A boma a believe is a surround that they use in some African nations either to keeep animals in or out depending on the purpose. That’s why around the restaurant there are what looks like little surrounds make of bamboo or sticks or what have you. Are they trying to keep your money in, or the flamingos from taking your food?😂

Growing up in a bigger place, you'd have duplicates of certain fast food places on opposite sides of the town. People who lived there would know to not go to "that Wendy's" because they had terrible QC and poor service compared to the "good Wendy's". I feel like Disney suffers from that a little bit. Some restaurants have different quality and service than others, even in the same pricing bracket. You can go to Palo on DCL and get the same meal on different cruise ships and have one be great, and one be mediocre. This video makes me wonder who is running Boma, and if they can get that person or those people to try to fix some small things at some of the other places on property.
Luckily a bad restaurant by Disney standards is still pretty decent. I always feel a bit "nitpicky" when criticizing Disney joints, but hey, if you raise the prices to the point that a meal for 4 costs $250-$400 with a tip and drinks then I want the world.
